I'm firmly of the opinion he burned his bridges in the way he left.

I'd rather have Bullivant back than Pardew.

That's how much I hate him.

Pardew was very much the start of the Reading FC that we watch today. He turned around a sinking ship as we faced being relegated to League Two, and improved us each season. Some of the football played under Pardew was as good as anything I've witnessed watching the team - and he was an early adopter of the now favoured 4-5-1/4-3-3 formations used by nearly all the top sides.

A very good manager - he made some mistakes around his exit to West Ham, but I understand he wanted to manage them and there's no hard feelings here. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

He's too high profile for us. I don't see a way back with Howe and Madj still here either, but I'm well over it and would take him back.

No vote.

If he didn't have history with the club - maybe he achieved the same things with Brentford - then I'd definitely take him, but he does, so I probably wouldn't. Hard to support someone as manager after you've booed their name and chanted for them to be sacked.

I can't imagine that he would want to come back so why the question?

Would Pardew ever return. Highly unlikely. Move on.

I never had a problem with him leaving us in the first place. Did really well for us and left to join a vastly bigger club. I like the bloke.

There is no loyalty in football from either clubs, managers or players. Why pretend otherwise. If we started struggling under him and a 'better' manager became available we would have sacked him in a heartbeat.
