My dad who is a season ticket holder and been watching Reading since the 60's (commuting from Cardiff for every home game since the 90's) finally decided this would be his last Reading game. Nice of the team to try and ensure he in no way regrets that decision.

taipairoyal
Y21 This is by far one of the worst and most inept performances I've seen at the madejski for quite a while. No drive, no vision and not a lot of skill. Utter garbage.

Too many foreign players, no passion, no heart.

If you think think that applies only to players born outside of the UK you clearly never experienced the delights of Paul Brookers stay at Reading....

What a pile of fetid old shite that was. Seems like the players and management have actually forgotten what they are paid to do. That or they don't give an oxf*rd

Lol @ all the morons criticising McDermott.

This teams been shite for years irrespective of who the manager was. Give him the summer to make it his team ffs. If this time next year we're still putting in dire performances weekly, then sure change the manager. The modern football fan is oxf*rd clueless.

Utter dogshite McDonut must go down as one of the worst ever mangers to have a "new manager" effect on the club. Get rid of the whole lot in the summer and start again even if it means going down to get sorted

Just like Adkins needed to do, just like Clarke needed to do...

The team has been shite for years throughout different managers and different players. Maybe neither are the problem?

What is concerning is how predictable BM is, his team selection, the shape of the team, his tactical awareness (or lack of), even his subs are ALL predictable. A young manager like Rowett with half an idea had the measure of him (among others). The players look fed up with a system which is clearly going nowhere ..

Well precisely but we still get the morons on here crying out to sack the manager. What difference is that going to make?
