RE: Wages, they can't be that high after all the departures last summer and now HRK and the loan players have left (wages/monthly fees).
Who would be on a decent wedge - McShane, Williams, maybe Kermorgant?

As ever with financial stuff, it's pretty crudely drawn but as I remember it:-

Our wage bill was 33m to financial year end. We made a profit of about 2.5m altogether although this was down to the Semi Final cup run and the selling of the land for REP 11m.

So with that one off payment of 11m not there, a not quite so good FA cup financial haul and an 8m drop in parachute payments we're looking at around 17-18m reduction to break even for the next set of results. The sales of Hector and Blackman will recoup some of that but I suspect that in the next set of figures we will be looking at a yearly loss of around 7m as of 2014. Of course that's a difficult figure to really predict because we simply don't know how much we were paying the loan players.
