Alex Fernandez

Don't care that he's not our player anymore. He deserves his own thread.

http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... c-12073908

“Every Royal knows how important this game is against the Arsenal.

“I’ve played for and I am lucky to love a club like Reading - and I know that in football everything is possible.

“I hope and wish the team win this important match. I will be supporting my old team mates and friends like Danny, Jordan, McShane, McCleary, Gunter, Al-Habsi and the rest of the team as if I were on the same field.

“Reading was my first English club and I’m not kidding when I say I will always love this club. I always will be a Royal, for the win!”

What a man.

Sign him up Jaap. Would certainly fit in with your ideas of how the game should be played....

He genuinely wasn't given enough time with us, its a shame and i think he would actually do fairly well in the setup we have now. really nice guy as well always positive about us even though he didn't get much game time.

The curious case of Alex Fernandez. Seemed fairly decent when he played, but was only ever used as a last resort by both Clarke and McDermott. Perfect attitude, never complained. Strange. Must've been dogshit in training.

Lovely guy when we met him and totally threw himself into the spirit of the club (despite the frustration he must've felt barely keeping the bench warm).

Far more than could be said for most of Steve Clarke's band of loan prima donna's.

Clearly only trying to help - if he's blocked you, you don't get to see him in another team's colours.

If you're referring to the pia pia piazon song then that was truly atrocious, stolen straight from the shitty Chelsea/Arsenal one word song sheet.
