Thoughts on the Birmingham game

by Gabriel » 31 Jan 2017 23:39

Reading fans,

Congrats on the win tonight. Written up some thoughts on the game - http://www.TheFootbalLab.co.uk/2017/bir ... we-learnt/

Well-deserved I thought. Much more precision to your attacks than Birmingham's, Swift deserved his goal.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

That's a well written, objective and insightful report.

You should definitely think about life in beautiful Berkshire if you fancy doing some mongy pieces of video reporting and being ITK at Hogwood. A decent reporter for the local rag would be "the final piece of the jigsaw."

TBF to JL he probably has a deadline to post something by way of a match report asap after a game. He may also have limitations in what he is allowed or can do as it seems policy on these sites is to write as little as possible, and then punctuate whatever is written with a many pointless pictures and adverts as can be provided, and all because research reveals the "readership" having an average age of 14 and the attention span of a goldfish.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Reckon you'll go up this year? Autos is a big ask but think you could pose a threat in the play-offs.

Granted the top two have a couple of games in hand, having said that we still need to play them both. 17 games to go. lots to play for yet.
