i was on a plane during the pompey 7-4, I had a text alert service that cost 12p per text for team news, all goals, half time and full time scores. I turned my phone on in the baggage hall to be bombarded by texts, YES, NO, YES!, NO, bollocks.

bit off topic, but I've been to:

the only game in the history of the football league where 4 players from one team were sent off. the '7' took the lead.
the lowest attendance for a Reading 1st team game (the 7th lowest attendance in football league history). Some 45,000 FL games later, there hasn't been a lower one.
Been 1 of 4 away fans
completed a 10 hour drive to a game & didn't get in.

631 at Chester (Macclesfield) right? Afraid I am guilty of attending that. My day consisted of a drive from Reading to Leeds for a system installation, then a drive to Macclesfield for that abject 1-0 defeat, then a drive to my overnight hotel in Preston. Gloomy does not even begin to cover it.
