John Smith Why do bother posting on here? I assume you post double the amount on the Chelsea boards as you have absolutely no life?

Somebody needs to find a sense of humour.

Who's that, you? Cos your jokes are so bad that even when you put three consecutively they don't get any better.

A grown man getting so upset by a few jovial football chants. Someone needs to get a life.

I don't care about football mate. I think you're the one who needs to get a life instead of picking on a little club's forum, a team he doesn't even support, from his high horse.

Play up Reading!!!
Reading play up!!!

...

I had a little turtle
His name was Tiny Tim
We took him to the Nags Head, to see if he could drink
He downed 10 pints of lager
And then he got his throat
And now he's up the high street stabbing Oxford in the throat
Stabbing stabbing stabbing
Stabbing stabbing stabbing
Stabbing stabbing stabbing
Stabbing Oxford in the throat

Spitting image chicken song

Wave your blue flag in the air
Stick a rumblestick up your nose
Buy the new home shirt
and then bury all your clothes
Paint your face blue and white
Then add a jesters hat
Sign up to hobnob
And pretend your name is Ian Royal

I've been dreaming of a time when,
No Fixed Abode is sick to death
Of Chelsea, and Arsenal
and spits upon this evil Premier League that saps our money

Maybe we can sing it in response to Luton fans when they next bang on about their 1988 Simod Cup win at Wembley?

Yes, whoopee! we did once win at Wembley but lets be honest, as far as most fans are concerned, that does not count as a significant fixture in our history. Basically it was a competition created so that small clubs could get to Wembley and fantisize that they are important. Basically, it was a friendly and although it has not been expunged from the records, it will go down as about as important as a pre-season friendly. If anyone wants to shout about that one then it's a sorry state of affairs.

Sure, it's nothing to shout out about and I'd be embarrassed if we did (except maybe to Luton Town fans of a certain age who remember it) but that doesn't mean we should wipe one of the few achievements in our history from existence just because it doesn't fit in with the lyrics of a song suggestion.

I think those Luton fans of a 'certain age' would cringe on behalf of us and laugh if we brought that one up, so let's give that one a miss.
Also, lyrics to a fotball song don't necessarily have to be exactly true, Example.... 'Harry Roberts is our friend'. Friend? I never even met him.
