Dick Habbin's hairdo So, in the hope of trying to keep it positive, as opposed to the "worst player ever," who is RFC's best ever loan?
Two standout for me:
Jim whatshisname..... Leighton - put in some great performances between the sticks in a pretty average team
Mr Media - you now, the bloke who pushed us to play-off..... bit too gobby for me but his nouse and experience was class. Jason Roberts.

Seriously?
Out of everyone you picked a goalkeeper who made a few appearances in the early nighties, and a player who wasn't even a loan signing?
Great OP. Really good work.

ILoveMoonPig I always rated Luke Chadwick, whilst he was with us, but he never really seemed to push on and make it big.
Omar Daley also seemed to have a lot of potential, but again, he never really made it.
Though I have noticed a definite downward trajectory of our league position since Eric Obina left. Wasn't he on loan?

Other than that, i would agree that Upson was the best quality player to have joined us on loan. Either him or Ryan Bertrand.

I will always maintain that this guy was responsible for the 106 season with that assist in the Sheffield United home game, to take us within 3 points of them at the top. Reading legend, as far as I'm concerned.
