windermereROYAL My £100 at 9/1 is starting to look a reality, tbh I would rather we stay up. but hell that grand will come in handy.

Pretty much.

He will say...

"But we are 3 points ahead plus 14 goals so really thats 6 points"

Lord give me strength.

If Birmingham win 1 and draw 1 we will be bottom 3 in the next 2 games.

I put 50 on it with bet 365 (although was ridiculed for it yet again by the usual mob)

Bar yesterday they have been pretty good. They had a striker who can score for a start.

'In other words'? Oh dear.

You most likely don't know what my understanding is or isn't. For my part, I'm not sure I know yours.

And I'm guessing you don't know a lot about my TV's. I certainly know nothing of yours. But at last count, I have six of them. And they are big. But hey, I'm always looking to upgrade, you know? Any recommendations?

Yeah I have.

Go and watch RFC at the Madejski. Once.

And then you'll want him sacked immediately.

Drivel, there plenty who attend who don't hold that view. Me included.

Lol @ Denver royal and his '6 tv's'

Still don't want him sacked Ian?

We've looked a really poor side all season if I'm honest. We definitely have every chance of going down with Stam at the helm.

We have 12 days before QPR. Let's sack Stam now and bring in someone who can get us 8-9 points from the next 8 games.

Someone like Redknapp or Warburton will do.

Why don't you read what I've said for the last month or so and find out.

6/1 for relegation is truly unbelievable.

If I thought they’d take the money I’d actually consider cashing something in to load thousands on.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, it looks hopeless

I looked at each, and on current form thought
what chance of winning-drawing-losing

Reading QPR 5% 25% 79% 1-3 0 points
Villa Reading 0% 10% 90% 0-3 0 points
Reading Preston 5% 15% 80% 0-2 0 points
Fulham Reading 0% 10% 90% 0-5 0 points
Reading Sunderland 35% 35% 30% 2-1 3 points
Wednesday Reading 5% 20% 75% 1-3 0 points
Reading Ipswich 25% 50% 25% 1-1 1 points
Cardiff Reading 0% 10% 90% 0-3 0 points

Based on that I see our GD dropping by another 16 goals
and us just picking up FOUR points (3 v Sunderland, and
that is one we could easily throw away) and 1 home to Ipswich

5-21 4 Points

If that is right we would finish on 40 points and a GD of -29

IF (and it could easily happen) Sunderland do us over, we
could finish on 36-37 (I just have a draw v Ipswich left) and
a GD of between -30 and -32, quite possible bottom, at best
second-bottom.

I know all the cliches and it's not impossible we win at Villa or Cardiff or Fulham
or something equally ridiculous, but on form (and we are getting WORSE) but
we now HAVE to pull off a shock result, a biggie against the odds to have even a slim chance

7/1 to go down is amazing.

What managers would be available right now?

"Nobody would take it?" Offer him a million if he keeps us up!

What (seriously) are the financial implications of relegation?

Redknapp would come short term I believe and I think he will get results to claw out of this mess.

I can't see the board doing it though and maybe many more people need to go including Gourlay and Tevreden. What about getting Hammond back as Director of Football.

Alternatively there is one Sir Steve Coppell. I could stomach being relegated to League One with him knowing he did everything to keep us up

Snowball we have the hardest run in of any of the sides at the bottom. Brum have the easiest. I feel they will finish above us. I reckon Burton and Sunderland will drop so it will be between us and Barnsley.

That’s why when we have been drawing games at home recently against out of form sides our chances of going down have been increasing even though the gap between us and the bottom three has widened. We have very few games that now look winnable whereas Brum have more. We have played and not won those games that were winnable.

I thought QPR was winnable but their away form has suddenly greatly improved. If Stam remains we have to pray Barnsley fall apart because apart from Sunderland at home I can’t see where we will win.
Stam should have been fired after Burton in December. There is no way any new manager would have done any worse in the months that have followed.

Agree. AT BEST I can see us only getting four points from the games that are left, but we can easily lose at home to Ipswich, and it would not be a shock to lose at home to Sunderland. It is not at all unreasonable to suggest we could lose all our remaining games.

IF (big if, of course) Sunderland were to win at The Madejski, we could finish BOTTOM, and that is 100/1

Barnsley aren't terrible, Birmingham have had the fillip of a great 3-0 result, Burton are fighters, so IF we keep bleeding as were now doing, and should we lose at home to Sunderland, bottom is very possible.

We need a huge SHOCK (new manager) or a freak result to break the vicious circle
