stealthpapesManeki NekoTheLawnMowerMan Wikipedia (the font of all knowledge) has his younger brother born in Reading. Does this mean that Paul grew up in the mighty borough that he now hopes to save?
has defo lived in an RG postcode. spent some time living in crowthorne, (yay)
where his father apparently committed suicide by drinking weedkiller
As chants go, mate, it needs a bit of work.

Berxwedan Zinar I'm just grateful that we've broken from the failed Stam experiment by bringing in a manger with connections to high-profile clubs who will try to institute a patient passing game.

To be honest he has played like he has no ankles since he joined Reading.

Harsh, he was consistently one of our best players until the last year or two.

Snowflake RoyalGunny Fishcake I agree let's get behind the new manager, but why in god's name have they given him a " long term deal"
Yet another example of gross negligence by Gourlay.
After the Stam debacle it defies belief.
You sound like a font of joy and positivity, will you be my friend?

Did they mention he has had two managers jobs and got sacked in both??
So we should have excluded anyone who has been previously sacked in our selection process
Didn't we do that with Stam?

Did we? If you are saying Stam had never been sacked that doesn’t mean we refused to consider anyone who had been which was surely the point myself and others were making.
Only on Hobnob

Beasant and Gilkes stay, Ulderink and the other one who arrived with Stam go with him.
Hound Be surprised if BT is here next year. Conspicuous by absence today

JR I think this is an absolutely superb appointment.
Clement has got massive potential and it just feels right to have him at Reading - a perfect match.
You certainly can’t knock someone with experience at PSG, Bayern, Chelsea and Real!!

I couldn't give less of a fukk where someone coached.
Good coaches =/= good managers

He has the contacts, both here and abroad, which should enable access to some players that we otherwise wouldn't have. And if we somehow get promoted, he has PL experience, too. You never know how things will pan out, but he brings a fair amount to the table. Will be interesting to see how many of the existing players he likes, or doesn't. Heard he's a big Chris Gunter fan.
