I have Reading on 43 with Barnsley on 39.
It’s obviously going to be very close even though Clement appeared to have caused a slight improvement in our defending.
In fact I think the defence is looking slightly more robust; shame about the midfield which to a man are all underperforming badly and not showing any sign of improving.
The only thing that we know for certain is that with Stam we would definitely have gone down.

2-1 Blades. Dare I say a win for us today and we will be eight points clear of Barnsley. Even with a game in hand they don’t look like making that up.

Yeah. I know. Gotta dream tho.

Dream on! It looks as if, unless we win, we will only be 2 or 3 points above the drop zone!

Didn’t realise you had a crystal ball - with Stam we could easily have scraped a win and a few draws and that would have been enough.

I’ve just done the predictor and surprised myself with Reading only picking up 5 points from last 6, but still stay 3 clear of Sunderland and Bolton who slip in to trouble

SIMPLY PUT.....

We HAVE to win this game. A loss could be catastrophic with Barnsley and Brum on form now, And a game more then Barnsley.

Barnsley grew a pair. Can’t remember us doing that this season. Good luck to them.

You say that virtually every oxf*rd week, and the few you don't say it, you're saying we've just saved our season and are staying up.

I think Barnsley will survive. They're on decent form and have 2 or 3 fixtures against teams with nothing to play for. We have 2 very winnable home games. Between Birmingham and Bolton for that last place IMO.

Birmingham have 4 games against teams in the top 9, Bolton have 2 against relegation rivals but they're both away and 2 other games at home to teams in the top 7.

Brum needed to win that today. Can't see them picking up more than 4pts from their final games. So 1 win will see us safe. Bolton's game at Barnsley will be huge, draw there will help us. By the time they go to Burton, they will have already dropped.

Think if we beat Sunderland next weekend, we will be good. Though will happily take us derailing the Fulham express.

Was thinking 3games back that 2 wins would keep us up. Reckon we’ll definitely need another 3 points now

Snowflake Royal Survival countdown:

22 points out of 27 available required, down from 25 out of 30.

Another step closer.

22 points out of 24 required, gap down to 3.

Now it's squeeky bum time.

17/21 required. Gap back up to 5. The squeek is eased slightly. Gotta follow up with some more decent results rather than another poor run like after Burton.

13/15 required now. But the buffer is looking healthy with three teams needing to overtake us again now. And Barnsley have to win their game in hand really, or things look a lot easier.

Bolton falling back into it. Come on Parky (but not at our expense!).

I'd love it if Burton pulled off the great escape at Birmingham's expense. Pretty unlikely though.
