And that, friends, is what's called winning ugly.

Second half actually played quite well . . . very very different to the first half!

Well, Gomes has come through with a much needed win. And just about deserved with a better second half and a peach from Oli. Doesn't matter how you get them.

We've failed to win games where we've played much better apparently, and we can't afford to play like that regularly, but it was a very patchwork side and they came through. Well done.

Nope also noted

Don’t mind the rest of his performance if he comes up with goods like that when needed

Yeah, as I've said, if he produces the goods he can swan around being ineffective the rest of the match all he likes. He's just got to actually produce it. Today he did.

Hopefully we never have to see that XI again though. I don't mind most of those players featuring... but certainly not in that combination.

oxf*rd idiot on the radio saying we were absolutely brilliant tonight.

Great result, very decent 2nd goal, but please don’t tell me they were brilliant.

No, not brilliant certainly. First half was woeful, second half pretty good

What did impress me is after the equaliser we didn’t sulk and went for the win - it was well deserved jn the end

To be fair to him he made the most tackles of any reading player in the first half (3) so actually put in a good shift defensively.

Great win but Blackett looked like Bambi on Ice and Kelly spends more time waving and pointing than concentrating on the game

Taking things too literally, it was brilliant to respond and to respond so quickly from what would have been a serious body blow to our survival chances. The response in itself was brilliant.

Don’t get too worked up about it, you’re sounding like a millennial snowflake
