Adam was more than fine when he played. Can see why his pass numbers were not that great, he is always trying to pick out a forward pass to get the team moving forwards - something we've arguably been lacking. Forward passes will by definition be "riskier" and less likely to come off but even a pass that is initially cut out in their defensive third could be useful if the forwards are doing their job and chasing these down and challenging for the ball.

He could be a very shrewd signing based on today.

I still worry about his ability to cover ground and rather lacklustre tracking / challenging.

I liked the way he was passing though.

First half yesterday. Same could be said of Stewart.

Stewart? I don't think there was a player with that name on the pitch yesterday? Did you mean Swift?

If he does, that's one of my normal concerns about Swift. Although more about him not being arsed to rather than not being able to.

See Charlie makes it to number 4 in the Championship's most 'interesting' signings of the summer:

Am enjoying his Twitter game, so if nothing else happens this season that is a positive.

how'd he get on? I know, I was talking shit about him earlier but whilst he's wearing a Reading FC shirt I'll obvs be backing him.

It’s almost as if the person who signed him doesn’t give a shite about Reading FC.

oxf*rd useless. Kept trying to pass the ball forward. He'll never fit in here.

First few minutes, played No. 10. Used his experience well, avoided the Hollywood ball and played very neat stuff.

Remainder, played deeper and pumped Hollywood pass after pass to Wednesday or into touch. But did wipe out their striker brilliantly (and fairly).

All we did all game was these stupid low percentage diagonals, so when he came on he was in his element.

hahaha....and of course we don't want him taking Swifties free kicks either. I'm still hoping Johnny boy is still available for the Lions tour with shooting like that.....Gatland will need him

Hope Gatland was watching Jay DaSilvas effort from Brentford

30 yards out and he managed to shoot and somehow it went out the stadium.
