It's never bothered him before, but I guess it's usually here, not on the radio.

Do we think that Bowen has instructed the players not to shoot from outside the area or is this something the players have taken upon themselves to not have a shot from outside the box? There have been times in recent matches where it looked like a shot was on but the opportunity wasn't taken.

Snowflake Royal I said when Bowen was appointed that if he'd come from outside the club we'd all be delighted with the appointment given his pedigree.

Can't believe anyone thinks he hasn't done a good job.

That's (some) Nobbers for you

Take the last three games WDW, three clean sheets 6-0, that is superb, but we "FAILED!!" because we couldn't beat Huddersfield

All sides have blips or fail to win "easy games"

Leeds couldn't beat Luton...

He leans towards defence which is less than exciting, but 46 x 1-0 wins would be quite good

You should be working for the Government the way that you very carefully choose cut off points for stats that help support your argument. We have FAILED because of his abysmal home record and the fact that the 'football' he usually gets his team to play is only marginally more entertaining than watching paint dry.

He has failed because he has built his team and style of play around one injury prone striker and continues to get them to play that style when that striker isn't even in the squad.

He has failed because our team have an average of less than 4 shots on target per game. That's worse than under Gomes. I need to check but I suspect it is worse than under Stam!!

Hopefully I will have to eat my words next season but at present I can only foresee another distinctly average season of boring football, something I doubt the owners will be overly willing to tolerate.

I DO work for the Govt

Personally I think it's a disgrace that it's taken Bowen until the middle of July to stay up,

There is so much wrong in that.
First off no one has ‘failed’. You don’t bother to define failure, but given where Bowen started from you have to be some kind of fool to think he has ‘failed’.
Your one hard stat to support his failure is ‘shots on target’. What made you pick that ! Why not games won, clean sheets, points won, goal difference.....
He hasn’t built his team round Joao. He’s played 19 games and half of those were before Bowen took over. He missed the first 2 1/2 months of Bowen’s tenure. I think his lineup is shaped more around getting his 3 creative midfielders on the pitch at the same time than finding a spot for an injured striker. He also clearly believes Meiteis most effective coming in from a wide position, stats probablyback that one.
He’s had to work with the squad that was in place when he took over (although as DofF you would think he had a hand in the signings), he’s not been able to add players to allow a change of style or formation. He’s had to work with what isn’t the best balanced squad but certainly has plenty of talent init

I must admit at times I don't think I've given Bowen enough credit, admittedly I'd completely forgotten we were in the relegation zone when he took over. Hopefully with a bit of stability we can push on and go back to being the top half championship team we were before our last stint in the Premier League.

Of course if miracles happen we could still make the play-offs

That's a disqualification. Unless it was a extremist rules match.

Well The Undertaker can shoot lightning out of his hands and turn all the lights off with his supernatural powers.
