tbf I think from memory Brighton had a decent side, certainly better than the current Forest one when he took over.

He's obviously a good manager. This is certainly a challenge for him though

Think I am on the fence.

I think he is a good manager, and did well at BHA for two seasons from memory. Apart from that nothing to suggest he is a top manager.

Also hard to know what he is really taking on at Forest, for most of last season they were pretty decent but that last day of the season and the four games this season they are far from decent, who knows. If I were a forest fan I wouldn’t be too unhappy.

Real question is why did Forest let Lamouchi sign a couple of dozen of his targets this summer if they weren't going to back him.

A respected analyst on twitter called it last season that Lamouchi would be sacked first next (this) season after looking at the stats under him.

Incredibly poorly run club.

Like most clubs?

I suspect that the owners thought about the lofty position they were in before the end of season collapse and hoped that this season with additions they would make a challenge again but their start has turned out to be just as bad as last season's end.

BTW didn't they get something like £12 million for Matty Cash so net spend might not actually be much if at all.
I would have sacked him just for bringing in Blackett.

As for Hughton, a steady pair of hands and a good organiser which can take you quite a long way in this division.

It could be argued that at Brighton he was merely cleaning up the mess left by Sami Hyypia, they had finished in the play-offs the previous 2 seasons and Oscar Garcia resigned after the latest failed promotion attempt.

This has to be the least successful and biggest basketcase of a club he has walked into though.

Just noticed one of my business rivals has an Apple Watch and I, being an Android man, have a Wear OS watch. It's quite cool but I can't help thinking the Apple one is probably more slick. :( Still mine has great battery life with its 3100 processor, much better than the 2100 older models.

Will keep you updated.

Goes from bad to worse for Barnsley, their CB Diaby has had his contract terminated after a two year doping ban, traces of Higenamine found after one game last season

Well, if there's a season to be shit and maybe survive it's pretty much this one.

Lots of competition for relegation.

What do the Brighton fans say about him now?
I know at one time they loved him to bits but I got the impression that they went off him as the football got more and more defensive.

Turns out Chansiri, having bought Hillsborough at a highly inflated price has been using it to guarantee loans. This is only going to end one way.

That's right - there were many fans down here not convinced even when they went up ands the vast majority weren't upset when he was sacked...they nearly went down after looking completely safe with 10 games to go

The one thing I hate about moving from Reading to Sussex is the Brighton fans.

Speaking to a Forest fan I know they rate him as the worst player to ever pull on a Forest shirt...
