LUX It is a consolation that three of the play-off participants will have wasted their timeBut which one would you like to succeed?
I vote Brentford. Have been a very exciting team for a few years, continuing to impress despite selling their best players.
Vaguely local but no animosity with us at all.
Second choice would be Barnsley.

Yep - there seems to be a general acceptance nowadays of a uniform style of playing football and disregarding anything else
"Building from the back" is perfectly plausible but what keeps the game more interesting is variety
Our most successful sides have been geared more closely to how Barnsley play and not this current interpretation of "modern football". Jem, for example was a great player for us - but think he'd badly struggle in the higher leagues now with how the game has generally evolved
Find it a bit amusing that people who loved McDermott's side don't like Barnsley. His midfield was the epitome of high energy spoiling in midfield. Jem was basically a terrier crossed with the energiser bunny.
I didn’t love McDermott’s team but I loved what they achieved. It was all about the W

But they weren’t a niggly annoying team like Barnsley. Yes high press and loads of energy but not constantly fouling, pulling players back, tugging shirts, tripping. Horrible team.
In fact we’ve never had players like that. Maybe we’d do better if we had?
Wrt OP, couldn’t give a toss

tidus_mi2 Bournemouth vs Swansea would be the least desired play-off final.

Momentum can do wonders in this league, the gap between end of season and start of play-offs probably hasn't helped them.
