Hendo Update from Pauno.

TMac and Meite both to play in u23s tonight, hopes Meite will be ready for Cov.

Would hope TMac would be available for Coventry too....

Replaced at HT, maybe not ready yet.

1 or 2 more games for TMac.

linkenholtroyal Would you start Meite though it is a massive risk maybe an impact sub from the bench. I believe Hoilett is fit and ince has had a week training with the squad. It’s a shame we don’t have Carroll anymore as I would have loved to have seen a 4-4-2. In Joao and Carroll that could have been a dream partnership. Guess we will have to stick with Swift behind Joao.

Meite off the bench, for sure.

Meite off the bench and possibly TMac to feature on the bench against Coventry as well would be about ideal. I certainly would not want to risk either at this stage though either. Proceed with caution if I was the medical team and club at this stage which I'm positive they will.

Yaks on the bench for Cov certainly. Wouldn't be totally surprised to see TMc on the bench tomorrow - thought they may have taken him off yesterday with Bristol in mind. Bit frustrating that Dann is still out - looks like stuck with Morrison and Holmes again tomorrow

Also seemed to suggest Halilovic still out (thought that was meant to be a minor injury), but we should still have reasonable attacking options with Ince joining.

Pauno has been talking about the free agent market so hopefully we can bring in another defender sooner rather than later just to give ourselves another option there whilst McIntyre regains fitness and Dann is out. It only takes a knock to either of Holmes and Morrison and we are very short.

Would have been nice to have something sorted long before they are both fit again mind you. We need a stop gap for the next 2 weeks. looks like that isnt happening, and it would take any free agent that long to get up to speed anyway.

Injured according to Pauno. Mind you he been out by injury, then covid, then covid and injury, now injury again. I do wonder if there is something else going on. Is he another one following in Moore's footsteps?

No Drinkwater yesterday so yet another injury. So despite what Pauno was saying we still have seven out.

Understand Ovie has a hamstring injury. No idea of severity

Benjy's take on Ovie:

https://mobile.twitter.com/BenjyNurick/ ... 3325357063

The total lack of clarity on Ovie Ejaria is just a symptom of wider problems.

Is he injured? If so, why can’t fans know what the injury is?

Whole thing is so shady and if there’s no transparency on something like that how can we expect answers to bigger questions?

For reference, when asked about Laurent, Paunovic immediately responded with what the injury was and the timetable. Yet with Ovie, refusal to say anything.

It’s a joke. So disrespectful to fans - almost as if they think the fans are stupid and don’t deserve answers.

I don’t want to just use my platform to moan but I’m fed up. The club is in crisis, fans have reached a breaking point and all they get back is half-truths and shallow placations. Ridiculous.

I could understand the concept of not revealing timeframes if you either didn't know or didn't want opposition to know, but the fact that nothing gets said from the manager tells us it's a bigger problem for whatever reason. Again, I could understand why the manager wouldn't come out and say he's refusing to play under the current manager we have, but I hope we see some sort of clarity on that, be it now, if the manager is sacked or at the end of the season.

nice moan from Benjy that

but yes, and pauno was clearly lying before on Moore, so he has form. Clearly more to the Ovie situation than the surface

Pauno's becoming a bit of a cock in interviews and stuff isn't he - constant no comments and walking out every week. Would be nice to get a bit of honesty from him

Not to defend his attitude in interviews, but I can understand why you would dodge questions on your future as well as information the club would prefer to keep private (i.e. regarding potentially offering his resignation), that's nothing new.

But I know the frustration as a fan, particularly with the manner of the interviews as well.

I called him humble before, he's done pretty much everything possible since to wrong me of that.

Reckon Benjy is two good articles away from being banned from the stadium.
