Well at least Reading currently now have more points than they finished on last season.

Anyone else hear the but in commentary saying that ince has never been at a club for a year. 5 days time will be his 1 year anniversary, it will the longest time he’s ever been manager of a club

Bit rubbish really. Unless they step up can only see this ending in tears.

Millsy We've no creativity at all.

All we can hope for is big ball to Carroll to flick onto Azeez. Or for Azeez to run onto.

We have no composure on the ball, Fornah the only midfielder capable of taking it and looking after it, Mbengue's played a couple of wayward passes, Dann has, Hoilett and TMac have lost it cheaply a couple of times etc.

It's like we don't know what to do when we are in possession of the ball.

True.

Don’t like to criticise players too much but surely Dann has to be subbed or we will lose this game. His legs have gone and you might as well put a statue in defence. Surely worth giving Abbey or Senga a go.

Scott Dann is scaring the shit out of me, why the hell did we give him another year, wrong formation, 4-4-2 surely is the way for this game. Hoilett really struggling on the right.

We are a horrible team to watch.

No skill, no vision, no pace, totally one dimensional.

I’ve gotta carry on watching but I’d really rather not.

Blimey we don't half give the ball away a lot, Mbengue NGW and Tommy Mac guilty parties each doing so at least twice when not under pressure.

Survived the first half when we might easily have been 3 down.
Second half will surely be better.
Expect Lumley to get booked for time wasting.

Azeez has been the only bright spot. We have already ceded midfield and are dropping deep.
Dreadful to watch.

Reading have not scored a league goal away from home, nor got a single point, since drawing 1-1 at Norwich on 30 December 2022.

Start as you mean to go on dann. Straight from kick off he messes up a pass. Jesus

For a defence full of big b*****ds, we're certainly not doing too well stopping them getting headers in are we.

Sarr has had a bit of stick on here but I think he’s ok tbh. Seems to be getting better as he gets more games under his belt. Seems a bit limited with the ball at his feet but I think he’s pretty reliable

I like Mbengue, but that's his second dodgy pass leading to a clear goalscoring chance.

We shoot ourselves through the foot. Sarr, for his height, must be one of the worst defender aerially, then Dann doesn't get it, then a poor clearance by Mbengue. Just a catalogue of errors that was so unnecessary.
