yes of course (more experience some of which, at a higher level), but it is (history repeating itself for us……yet again ) a case of ‘what is left of this squad’.Snowflake Royal Does anyone have the tiniest shred of doubt that Warnock, as the perennial example, could get far more out of this squad than Ince?

AthleticoSpizz There won’t be……just less players for him to pick from.
Hoillett, Hutch, Hendricks, Ince, Long probably would’ve won that for us today

Crowbar6753 Wins for both Huddersfield and Wigan were pretty hard to take and really puts us right in the brown stuff!! I think Blackpool are doomed, they just don't look like they can pull out of the bottom three. Huddersfield however, todays win would have given then a massive boost, so to Wigan.
There's going to be plenty of twists and turns over the next few weeks and maybe the answer is not below us but just around us.
How much did today's defeats for QPR and Cardiff who lost to a 99th minute goal to there biggest rivals hurt their morale moving forward.
Rotherham are also in the mix and everybody's pre-season favorite's to drop and are the perennial yo yo club in the division.
Our next two games are key for me. Birmingham is a must win and we have a pretty good record at deepdale the last few seasons and they have nothing to play for. Get above Rotherham and QPR and the pressure may start to take a toll.
My only worry is our last two games, Wigan and Huddersfield!! we really need things sorted by then.

hughsies no.1 You will do well to find a Reading fan that wants Ince in charge next season regardless of whatever division we are in.
But, he has been set a job to keep us up - which he would have comfortably done aside from this pending points deduction.
He isn’t going to go before the end of the season, the players are clearly playing for him still based on today.
The chants aimed at him from the away were so embarrassing and soon quietened down after we equalised after the subs were made where he was told he doesn’t know what he’s doing. To add to that, the ‘we want our club back’ chants were equally embarrassing (mainly because they were sung a by load of kids in fake stone island gear filming each other on Snapchat singing it)…
Players, staff, fans all need to stick together to stay - yes the football is turgid, but there’s no other way because he ain’t going anywhere until end of season AND has done what’s been asked of him since he’s been in charge (as hard as it is to admit for some)

Might we have done better had he started with a different formation and possibly lineup from the outset? We rescued one point from a losing position rather than winning and still only managed two shots on target in the game.

Yep. Yiadom was poor throughout and yet hetook off the ok NGW.
The subs came off, not because they were particularly well timed or chosen, but because they meant he abandoned the god awful system that hasn't worked for months and are both good players who probably should have started.
