If we're happy to have a nobody manager with a shit record, we have to be happy enough to give the lad a chance and just accept things are going to be shit hopefully until he matures his "project".

If tonight is any sort of representation of the season so far then Ive got to say I’m disappointed with most. For me only really Button and Abbey come away with credit as they’ve been solid which probably tells it’s own story.

Just look like a team that is going to struggle to score goals. Not as if we haven’t had a couple of good chances and Carson put two really good balls in, as did Yiadom recently, just nobody on the end of it. I really hope Smith is a poacher rather than someone who just hassles defenders.

Azeez looks half the player that came onto the scene a couple of years ago, even a division below.

Sutekh Game over

We all watched the transition in the England team in the late 80's.
No big CF "up top"
Played it to the feet of Lineker and Beardsley.
We played for 60 minutes without one, yet were putting crosses in the air for Azeez, etc. to try and win.
Beginning to worry.
Young enthusiastic players, yes, managerial tactics, Hmm.

And if that moment doesn’t just sum us up in front of goal, what does…

WestYorksRoyal Pressure building on Selles again. 3 points above the drop zone, 2 disappointing performances on the trot. I get it's not going to be instant success, but we simply can't accept a relegation battle in L1.

Seles was the perfect choice to manage this club. Foreign,no knowledge of this league proven failure

Does League One have goal line technology? Looked over the line.

Yes and we all know this. Should have got a point and plenty of players to come back

It’ll be a tough season, certainly until they get a bit more experience or tbe more experienced lads come back

From Despair To Where?
Bristol Paul
Jackson Corner Never looked like scoring shambolic at the back. This has to be the worst Reading team in living memory.

No, that was last years team. At least this team run around.

88-92 was much worse than this.

I thought the foul was in the follow up. If the ref didn't judge it over the line, it was a tough call. But if it's a foul in the build up I don't know what it could have been.
