Royal_jimmyblythspartan Obviously pure speculation, but just read an article suggesting Ashley might bring back Pards if he were to take us over.
On an 8 year contract
Look forward to the dance moves when he keeps us up last game

Snowflake RoyalAscotexgunnerSnowflake Royal Squeee could we actually get some good news please!
When do we fancy this materialising into something concrete?
BBCRB still running with Storey as the front runner insinuating he is almost over the line.
Like they know anything. The fact they're believing the charlatan's tweets tells you not to listen to them.

From Despair To Where? I think I could manage to live with Ashley as owner.
Wouldn't listen to Newcastle fans, they've always been an entitled bunch of fcukwits despite not winning anything for half a century.

Orion1871 Newcastle fans have ideas above their station and think they should be winning the PL every season. We just want someone who will run our club sensibly.

under the tin I've no complaints about SCL, but I must admit "The Ashley Arena" has got a better ring to it.
Although old farts like me will always call it The Madstad.

It will be the Sports Direct or House of Fraser Stadium - Ashley seems to prefer to promote his business interests rather than his name.

From Despair To Where? Yeah, I think they won the Fairs Cup a couple of years before I was born.

I think when you pull in 50,000 every game, it's not unreasonable to think being happy with 13th is a low level of ambition.
If he took us over, and in five years we are still in League One, but stable, fans would be saying he needs to go.

Snowflake Royal 50,000? So 8th in the PL attendance list? Big woop.
They're a middling top tier side who occasionally fall out and occasionally flirt with Europe. Nothing more.

Only idiots with no patience if we're stable.
