CountryRoyal They’ve had a good run but ultimately not a league one club. Will be very novel watching reading at whaddon. Always wanted it to happen but thought it would sooner be in the cup than the league. Thanks Dai.

Can we still talk about championship clubs on here? Well if we can I notice stoke fans are up in arms as Coventry are charging them £37 for their visit  and leeds are apparently charging £45 to visiting supporter’s :| .

This is partially an unintended consequence of FFP/P&S (or whatever it's called now). Clubs are forced to maximise revenues to remain within FFP regulations - higher ticket prices is a way of doing that.

Ironically, all our work in keeping ticket prices lower assisted with our FFP breaches in recent seasons, albeit being far from the primary reason, the club lost potential revenue by keeping ticket prices down.

I thought though that the FL had regulations to stop away supporters being "fleeced" but then I presume Leeds snd Coventry must be charging their own supporters the same to get round it.

Leeds' ticket prices are scandalous, you're paying for the name rather than the quality. The away section needs doing up, half of it looks run down the last time I was there and even the prices inside the ground for food & drink was ridiculous for what you get as well.

Leeds is one away day I certainly don't miss. We paid £39 last time which was bad enough

I don't really blame the clubs for high ticket prices, I blame the people stupid enough to pay that much. If the demand wasn't there the ticket prices wouldn't be so high.

QPR have done a Reading. Linked with Warnock, but have gone for a random Spanish journeyman instead.

Welcome Marti Cifuentes.

Wow bizarre appointment! They have caught Reading fc syndrome. Hopefully this cements their relegation.

Or could do brilliantly, sign with Watford and get sacked after 2 weeks, one or the other.

Chansiri has told Wednesday fans to pay the £2m HMRC bill. £100 each from 20,000 fans is his suggestion. At least he communicates with them I guess.

As much as I'd love QPR to go down they have plenty of quality to get out of it.
