It had to happen. I don't think it should keep happening but I think a stand had to be made.

I feel sorry for the Port Vale fans, they have been extremely supportive of out plight. It would be a good idea for a representative of our supporters group to get in touch with Port Vale's supporters to see if there is a charitable organisation that they are linked to or are currently supporting. We of course can't compensate the Vale fans personally so maybe a bit of a fundraiser for a local Stoke cause would be a nice touch.

I was wary of what I would achieve but actually, I think it was a positive thing. Proves the club still has a heartbeat and the reaction from the greater footballing world has been largely supportive.

I approve of the protest, I approve of the abandonment, and I approve of Brogue. Your classic approval trifecta if you will.

I think it was a risk as we don’t know how the EFL will respond, but given the recent escalation a risk worth taking.

Better to have no regrets than wonder what if.

Never could have imagined such an accepting football crowd for the announcement of an abandonment.

I agree with it, but sincerely hope it isn`t repeated.
Would imagine if there are any sanctions we will know by next weekend.

Hang on, 3 hours ago you didn't agree with it. Which is it?

100% yes

I was on the pitch but got off after half an hour or so. I would've been quite happy to see some football after we'd made our point but on reflection I applaud those that stayed to the last. A delay wouldn't have had the same effect.

How dare anyone change their mind on an unclear, complicated matter.

You either agree with it or you don't. The same implications for invading a pitch that you and Windermere were sobbing about are still in place.

So you've both changed your mind because you now know that there is overwhelming support of the pitch invasion? It's OK to admit it.
