Losing a 2-0 half-time lead. They've definitely got the DNA of a Reading team.

Thanks for posting this - hadn't realised that it had been moved to Bearwood from Aldershot due to Women's cup match there on Sunday

Mine was the No 1 ticket sold  Think they have sold at least 6.
I do know they have a deadline for buying but as they don’t promote the Bearwood games, for all i know it might have already passed.( they don’t promote it because they don’t want punters to attend) and are forced to by the league rules.

Royals and Racers Boyce- Clarke
Yiadom
Mola
Rushesha
McIntyre
Bindon
Akande
Savage
Ehibhatiomhan
Wellens
Vickers

Very strong side, which makes sense due to us not completing a league game in two weeks. It could well be our starting XI come February.

I'm guessing it's something like:

CBC
Yiadom - Bindon - McIntyre - Mola
Rushesha - Savage
Akande - Vickers - Wellens
Ehib

Subs: Collins; Abrefa ( :D ); Craig; Clarke; Carson

Great to see CBC back, as well as Abrefa on the bench.

Yes, very good to see CBC return, hope Abrefa can get some minutes under him. Would rather Carson play than Mola

‘The secret scout’ reports that Southampton have signed Reading U 16 academy player Cameron Frederick. They go on to say that there will be more out goings from the RFC academy this year.

Not ideal, but being brutally honest it's a good way to bring cash in now without harming the first team. The lost talent will either be the next owner's problem or be irrelevant when we're extinct.

I was about to say it wouldn't bring in much - but if we lost a 16-year-old who has been with us since they were nine, that's potentially £154k. Or if he's been with us since 12, that's £145k.

As long as it isn't too many in total or from a particular year group, it is a sensible way to bring in funds. Only a relatively small number if Academy players will ever play for the first team so getting monet in for some who are years away from even challenging makes sense.
