I’ve rather lost the thread.
That board is basically a couple of rich Americans and their families.
Where do Chiron fit in ? Do they even fit in ?
If they are funding things is it odd for them to not have a place on the board ?
I’m sure someone understands how it all fits together….

Not sure Chiron are involved now, they were in the first set of talks that broke down. The above are the board and directors of Redwood Holdings 1 Limited which looks to be the proposed buying vehicle for the club and it's associated assets.

There could be other "silent" investors behind the scenes but would presume there would have to be knowledge of them to the FL in order for the sale to be approved, if there are any whether they would be revealed up front to us mere fans I have no idea.

Guess we should all wait until the press conference/statement before analysing it any further.

It's a front for a Welsh bloke called David Young who made his money turning bus shelters into pop up corner shops for rural communities.

Sutekh Expected new board at game on Saturday

The gents in the pic are (l-r) Todd Trosclair Junior, Todd Trosclair Senior, Rob Couhig and Joe Jacobsen. Ladies are Mrs Junior and Mrs Couhig.

There is also another board member (not in photo) by the name of Alec Lundberg.

Joe is currently on the FL course on "how to run a football club" and much prefers the business side to the coaching side.

Deal expected to be confimred in next 24-48 hours.

From that photo Rob needs to keep a close eye on Joe

Does anyone have quick access to the photo of a weird bunch of apparent gangsters that we all saw in the directors box last year? We all wondered who they were! One was asleep, several others looked very shifty, there was a classic gangster's moll, and one was Rob Couhig in a black fedora hat.
I loved the photo, and now I'm loving being on the cusp of these guys actually owning the club and lifting us all from the absolute tedium of the Yongge years. It's unforgivable that Dai Yongge has hardly ever issued a press statement of any kind...at any stage! Will he even say goodbye?

If things are as far along as we are led to believe then no he didn't say goodbye but then he didn't even say hello. However no one cares or wants to ever hear from him again.

Is there a sweepstake on which official announcement will be first?

Azeez transfer or change in ownership...

My bet is on:

Big fanfare announcement for new ownership...

Followed by confirmation of Millwall bid accepted for an 'undisclosed' fee...

I’d love to think the above won’t be the case, but I don’t trust Dai.

EPR have you heard any bad news?

Given Couhig and the gang were there last night, I don't think we need to be concerned with anything collapsing, just yet at least. If by all accounts this is just awaiting an EFL seal of approval then we are in the "any time now" portion of the takeover.

Little bit disappointing as I was looking forward to the club and everyone connected to it being able to move on and focus on football.

Probably a bit early to panic.

Just over a week for the EFL to hang on, so they can prevent us from making any signings until January.

Not ideal is it, but can still get free agents in.
