From my experience of selling and buying companies that last statement would suggest we are weeks and possibly months away from completion.

We've had a statement that the FL have approved the new owners to takeover. There's no way that happens without the deal being in the final stages. We all know that Dai is almost completely awol and not interested. It's clearly just a matter of the final sign off.

It'll come. All this panic and conspiracy nonsense isn't helping anyone or anything.

Sod statements, sod rumours. So the lot. Just get on with supporting the club and breathe a sigh of relief when it inevitably finally happens. The only real urgent deadline is gone.

Looking at the postings on x the guy posting seems quite genuine, but no idea if that’s the case. I can’t believe Couhig would discuss such sensitive matters in the stadium hotel. If the chap isn’t on the wind up it would paint a gloomy picture.

Two conflicting accounts from fans at the game. One fan from the lower west below the directors box, who got a picture with Couhig 2 weeks ago, said he met Jacobson in the same spot who expressed confidence in completing the deal without going into specifics.

Or hard man Stevie with his acquired blue tick and profile gushing over Elon Musk and GB news, who claims Couhig was in the hotel after the game divulging intimate details of the deal.

I'm not sure who to believe.

Much as I dislike this Steve guy's bio (particularly the flag), he has 13.4k followers and sounds plausible in what he says and his replies this morning...nothing sensitive re the deal has been posted anyway.

If Rob and co were this accessible after the game, then what the hell were the local press doing??

Ady was probably talking about horse racing, Tim was/is on holiday or been sent cover Paralympic rowing while the stand in commentator, Johnny Saunders?, just disappeared rather than trying to collar one of the owner types for some words. Good old BBC investigative journalism up to its usual standard. Bog alone knows where the Chronic guy was so assume they've all decided the recent club statement leaves them not needed in that area for a couple of weeks at least.

This would never happen on GB news or Pravda.
