Well that was an embarrassing waste of a day wasn't it? Orient were gubbed 3-0 at the Shrews last week and yet this lot couldn't beat an egg. Real downer on top of yet another week of not finally getting you know who out of the club. Still don't really see why CBBC is highly rated by anyone, just so inconsistent, presuming Button will be back in at Bolton.

Atrocious tactics that won them the game... What did you expect from a team bottom of the league playing away from home? Free expansive attacking football? They came to do a job on us, and they did. Fair play to em. It’s up to us to adapt to teams who play this way. We didn’t. We deserved to lose. Hopefully we learn a lesson and we can just put this down to a bad day at the office.

Orient are becoming irritating, all bad results against them since relegation. Feel like we owe them, Shrewsbury and Burton are good stuffing at some point, but won't get it playing like we did today.

Ehibhatiomhan, Craig and Elliott put in good performances.

Nothing too wrong with Bindon. Nibbs looked bright and determined when he came on.

Apart from them, it was all 4s or 3s out of ten. I'm a fan of Dorsett, he's calm on the ball, but he let far too many crosses into the box. Wing needs to get more involved.

I do wonder why we haven't attempted to move to the system we played at the back end of last season when chasing a game. Smith is quite isolated and benefitted from having Knibbs in the space behind him last season (that would be Elliott if Knibbs isn't playing) - at the very least, it gives one of their defenders someone else to be concerned about.

Don't think either wide man really got into the game, although Campbell probably should've scored his chance - a rather routine save from the keeper in the end.

Felt the midfield was bypassed too often today, although we never looked like we could break Leyton Orient down when they did get decent possession. I would like Wing to play a bit higher up the pitch, although that would require Craig to move back into defensive midfield.

The defence did okay; I thought their number seven was the only player who consistently caused them problems.

CBC made a good save, before immediately losing concentration for their goal. It was such a routine save and annoying that's how we've lost the game. I maintain my earlier stance he needs to go out on loan somewhere to help him improve through match experience; he's not at League One level and isn't going to improve much without regular football. His distribution was poor too.

Dorsett was beyond abysmal. Just shockingly so

Not getting people thinking Orient were that much better than us. Both teams were dreadful. Difference being after 10mins they started physically bullying us and we resorted to hoofball, which they just lapped up. It was painful to watch

To many square pegs in round holes for me!! However, there really isn't much we can do at the moment thanks to Dai Dorsett isn't a full back and the past three games now he has been a liability in switching off and not closing down the crosses. We really need Yids back at right full back and i would be inclined to give Abrefa a run on the left.

I like the idea of Wing playing the QB role but we really are missing his presence further up the pitch. Smith is a poacher and will score goals but today we just couldn't get the ball in to him.

For me our big issue is wide left! Kelvin.E isn't a left winger!! however, i don't think he can pull off the lone striker role either. Could we change formation and go 4-4-1-1 and give him a free role behind Smith and just let him do his thing? or maybe a 4-3-3 with Smith up top and Kelvin.E as an inside left forward and Knibbs as inside right?

Finally there's Craig!! for me he is one of our best players and should be played in his preferred role which is either CDM or CM...and if so whom do you drop in midfield? Elliot has improved, Savage has improved, Wing is a given!!

Oh to be a manager!! I guess Rueben probably won't change formation and stick with his 4-1-4-1 so if thats the case its:

We were absolutely awful.

The better team won.

Yes they feigned injury every time we had momentum. Yes the ref was rubbish. Yes we hit the post.and missed a clear cut chance somehow.

But we were crap and they deserved it.

Couple of points

1) Awful awful performance by RFC fans. Embarrassing morgue, totally outsung by about 12 standing Orient fans all game (except the first 5 mins). Back in the day before we had the privilege of a dedicated singing section we woudl keep it going all game. Pathetic. Sort it out kids.

2) Akande should have started.

I thought Binden, Craig and Mbengue were ok.

Dorsett looks a lesser player than last season. Boyce-Clarke looks unreliable and out of his depth.

Elliott has so much promise and kept wriggling free, but just as much he'd over or under hit his pass or take a hevay touch and lose it.

Savage just didn’t get in the game. Similar for Wing. Campbell had promise but it just wasn't working. Ehibhatiomhan kept trying to do too much and he needs to learn to play his passes properly, not just dab at them. And when he beats his man go round him, not play the ball into him. Smith is lost being our target man. Campbell should have scored.

For 5 minutes we looked better when Knibbs and Akande came on, but then it evaporated.

We have to start playing some actual fullbacks and we can't keep trying to use Smith as a big battering ram. He isn't.

We won't play that bad that often though. Hopefully

Can only speculate why we were so poor. I know it's a thin squad, but it way a bad team we put out today. They had 2 weeks to prepare, off a high after Charlton.

Did Orient have a gameplan that affected us? Did the change in GK affect confidence ahead of him? Is the never ending ownership saga finally sapping energy for the players? Or was it some other reason we can't put our finger on?

Either way it needs to be infrequent. 2 tough games next, though Bolton have not started well.

Poor Boyce-Clarke one minute world class save , next world class howler. Game and atmosphere very flat , Campbell should have equalised but not to be , good reality check today.

Second live game this season for me and the Brum match on TV

Can over anaylse but just a bad day for most players all round, Once Orient went ahead fair play to them for busting a gut to hold onto the lead, I thought if we equalised we would go on to win, but crowd didnt do its bit bit to raise the passion.

After the Wigan game I was saying the team is really well drilled and coached all knew what they were doing - today was a shambles

Defence was nervy - justifiable with change of keeper. Inauspicious debtus for CBC and Campell (Azeez would have scored that miss).

Midfield had a great big hole in the middle, attack suffered from high punts and messed up passes through the channels

For me the biggest issue is Wing in that position - most experienced and best chance creator - but playing quarterback he is wasted. Was ok in the Wigan as all the others around him were on fire. Today he had a pretty ineffective contribution. That DM postion should be Craig - make the tackle simple pass forward to the more creative players - Wing and one of Elliot/Savage. Wing should be playing higher up the pitch and controlling the game there, Abrefa is a FB so play him there.

Hopefully Knibbs Smith and Kelvin can sparkle in the box. Early days for Campbell so lets cut him some slack

Orient didn't win the game we lost it - ultimately down to CBC howler. Shame for him - if his wordly save had gone in but he made the regulation save for the goal, then maybe less critiscm but then again keepers are there to make a difference.

First 13 is good - have a hunch the non takeover may be impacting morale

Hopefully Selles can learn and work some magic - happy with a top 10 finish
