Let’s be honest there’s little likelihood that anyone involved isn’t a pcunt in some form or another . Dai has been a damaging one but Couhig didn’t really give me any better vibes than Storey or the German bloke.

The whole Purple Turtle/Twitter presence always seemed a little “try hard” for me. We know his consortium last an investor during the process so it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if they tried to restructure again.

It’s out of our hands so I’ll try to embrace the fact that on the pitch we appear to have something worth supporting and hope behind the scenes gets sorted in time. I flew over for the Blackpool game because I had a very genuine fear it would be our last game in our current form.

We’re still going so there’s life in this old dog of a club yet.

Insightful as always Vision.

Totally agree with what you have written here, especially the "....on the pitch we appear to have something worth supporting..." line; ALL the fans need to get behind the team, the manager and the coaching staff now - they have clearly put the (understandable) disappointment at the lack of resolution to the off field cr@p on the back-burner with that superb win against Huddersfield, and they deserve our respect and support for so doing.

Personally, I'm not sure I would be as motivated as the team appear to be if my Company treated me the way they have been treated!

100% agree with this.

I am really enjoying supporting this team and the football is much more entertaining than the previous few years of garbage.

As mentioned previously, I am done with all the off field shite and am only giving it a passing glance at best - however, the team are worth supporting so I will continue to do that and will be watching tonight.

Missed Saturday because of the early kick off and possible match disruption that didn`t happen, like a few of the others have mentioned I`m through with this long drawn out sage, I`ll be back in my seat tonight to support the team, why worry about something we have zero control over?

The 5 stages of grief:

Denial: "This can't be happening!!!"

Anger: "How the f**k has this been allowed to happen!!"

Bargaining: "If we get relegated and Dai goes, things will get better"

Depression: "We are f**ked"

Acceptance: "why worry about something we have zero control over?"

Aren't we missing an irrational optimism stage? "I'm sure Dai will act in his own best financial interests".

Or is that part of denial?

My lowest point (Depression stage) was when news broke of the training ground being sold.

I'm probably at the acceptance stage now, I'm not happy but I believe the club has a future even if it's uncertain and on the pitch things are positive.

With Nigel Howe serving a ban, I doubt there's going to be any news for 3 months on the sale.
Also with Mark Bowen out of the equation, I'm not sure who is running the football side of things, Hopefully not the CEO as I can imagine him doing something stupid like selling all our goalkeepers and not even telling the manager.

People need to stop kidding themselves that they're at the acceptance stage. If it was announced this afternoon that we were being liquidated, your response would not be "meh".

I've accepted that this uncertainty will continue and that I can't affect it, but there is still sn underlying assumption that it will be sorted one day. When that day is, what happens in between and who owns us afterwards I can't control.

Of course it would be devastating if we got wound up, that`s a no brainer, but for most of us the last year has been hope disappointment hope disappointment time and time again, it`s probably best to just concentrate on what happens on the field of play.
Then sometime hopefully in the not so distant future we`ll have something to really celebrate off of it.

I think the acceptance stage is not when you when you "accept" anything that might happen, it's when you accept there's little or nothing you can do about it, so constant anxiety is pointless. You accept the situation, not the outcome.

We're all pretty much equally in the dark. We know next to nothing. We take tiny signs, mildly credible leaks, and wild rumour, and conflate them all into a swirling maelstrom of dark machinations, evil intent and final peril.

We're 98% wrong, 100% of the time. Doesn't mean there's not a validity to discussion or speculations - I'm often amazed how quick people are to condemn others for using a discussion board for discussing things - but we are well advised to acknowledge we know (next to) nothing.

Yes, that way it's just steady consistent disappointment.
