From Despair To Where? I've seen a few comments this season from opposition fans about how we "celebrate like we've won the cup".

Let me put that in context:

Our owner is slowly strangling the club, we're not allowed to sign any players and outside a core of 10 or 11 players, our squad is bulked out with teenagers with fcuk all experience, we've been deducted points been under a transfer embargo for 3 years, we've faced winding up petitions and at times, the players haven't known whether they will get paid or not.

However, we win games, play decent football and the playing and coaching squad have a fantastic rapport with the fans. We celebrate every win like it could be our last and, despite everything, we're still here.

This may not be the best team we've ever had but I think we're all proud of them.

Good post.

Royals and Racers Quality of Elliott back in- no brainer :D

Big of you to apologise in the week, I have to say.

Glen Little’s man of the match today - the evidence keeps growing !

It's pretty desperate that you dish it out for no reason just because I favour a different midfield balance, especially away, run away and hide when Selles does exactly what I suggest and then run back in like you've won some sort of competition because Elliott has a good game.

He's a good player. I've never said different.

We should have been ahead after a dominant first half but for some reason the selfish Knibbs decided not to square it for a certain goal.

If I was a Rover fan I would be apoplectic about Forde, the only player booked and he drop kicks the ball away - what an idiot. After that you could see Rovers were playing for a draw, so it was some karma for their timewasting keeper leaking a goal through his legs.

For some reason we turned to shit when Savage came on and were hanging on against 10 men, we are utterly shit at game management. If not for some last minute heroics from Pereira we'd be complaining about some easy points dropped.

Overall though a great win, 3 on the bounce and into the playoffs 8)

Yeah, it's not my fault you can't cope with it and have to be a child.

Just gonna say, in Tel Aviv, that's a solid week. Never had you down as a rootless cosmopolitan.

Just watching back the last 2 games highlights, and seeing Joels saves... And realise how much the team love him and settled that position now feels. First time in such a long time. I now bloody love him.

I think we do owe those 6 points to him!

You don't need to. It's just something idiotic fans have taken to saying about anyone who beats them.

There was a time when it was friendly banter on here when posters had views on certain players.
For goodness sake , keep things light for a change Ian.

A match-winning, perfectly weighted through ball from Elliott yesterday which is what we want from an attacking midfielder.
The manager clearly likes him, has stuck with him after a moderate last season and we are now enjoying the benefit.

Ian does Ian…and against R&R too? Wow.

Although he hasn't gone into his usual ‘insult mode’ tbh

Indeed it is...but the "week" in question started at 2.25pm when the Crawley game ended and finished 168 hours later when the Bristol game ended = 168 hours = 1 week.
