Clyde1998 IIRC, there’s about 500 seats behind the goal (uncovered) which is often given to away fans in addition to the roughly 850 we’ve been given for tonight.

I imagine we would’ve been given those seats too and had a much more typical 1,350 allocation.

EDIT - Bolton only got 844 tickets for their upcoming game and don’t appear to have got more. Don’t know what the minimum percentage is.

I read somewhere a few years ago that the minimum percentage for an away allocation is whichever figure is lower out of 3000 and 10% of overall ground capacity. Clearly this doesn't seem to be the case here, although this is the first instance I can remember where that rule hasn't seemingly applied, hence why I've just assumed it was true.

I wonder if that stand’s closed for some sort of safety issue (or planned development) at the moment. That would explain the 10% rule not being followed.

There’s a smattering of people in it currently though.

Yeah it probably has limited capacity at the moment, for safety or whatever reason. Stockport are planning on redeveloping their ground and increasing the capacity too, starting next year.

Mr Angry
Clyde1998 The club said 741 tickets have been sold for this, with additional tickets available via Stockport today.

That is actually pretty impressive for a Tuesday night away in deepest Cheshire.

It's not quite 'deepest' Cheshire, in fact it is within the boundaries of Greater Manchester. My youngest (studying at M/cr Uni) is going to be part of the away contingent with some of his mates.

Got to be honest and say I have a bad feeling about this evening. It's a young, thin squad and I think it could just be the "game too far".

No cause for alarm if so. We're a solid top half team and if only this bloody takeover can happen we've got a good platform to kick on from.

I think Garcia is more impressive as a 16 year old than Olise was as an 18 year old.

drove back from the Lake District this afternoon, stopped at Norton Cane services (M6 toll road) and had that warm-glowing sight of some early-bird Reading shirt wearers en-route to the game.

Sadly (for me), an early start and working in Bury St Eds tomorrow, meant I had to continue my journey southwards instead of joining them…. :|

Fair play to those travelling on a grim Tuesday

Decent start this. Mbengue's horrendous challenge over the top of the guy on the wing miles from the ball excepted.

An in-form, on-song Louis Barry is a cheat code at this level.

Could've been in there. Terrible touch from Akande.

Stockport looking decent

Sharp passing and good running off the ball.

Remember when we had a former Barcelona midfielder?

Don't answer that.

Mbengue misses the ball by a mile again.

He's a bit lucky not to already have a yellow
