Clyde1998 Crowbar6753 Played well in the second half and really should have won that at the death. A point is a point and will happily take that. We looked so much better when Dorsett came on and showed he is a better option at LB than Garcia at this present time. Garcia's time will come however, he's a 16 year old at the moment and needs to bulk out a bit.
We really need to move Craig into his DM position as I'm 100% sure he would do a better job than Wing!! Wing makes things tick at the top end of the pitch where he can dictate play and score his worldly goals
Having both Yids and Abrefra out is really hurting us so i really hope that young lad who came on today can do something.
Hopefully the two week break will be enough for Abrefa to get fit and allow Selles to tweak the balance a bit.
Dorsett being back does give us a boost. With both fit, I think there's a time and a place for Garcia starting at LB - away for most League One games is not the time or place. If he is to be a LB, he needs to improve physically - which will likely just happen as he gets a bit older anyway.
That said, he's a lot more athletic than Dorsett, so the situations where it does make sense for Garcia to start at LB could be if he's going to be up against a very athletic winger.
Garcia would be a decent option on the wing still. It wouldn't be the worst thing for him to play a few games for the U21s should he get the opportunity either.
Agree about Garcia playing further forward-I think he would create more than the mainly underwhelming trio of Akande, Campbell and Camara.
Having now seen Ahmed three times I am impressed.
His physical presence at only just 17 is useful in this division and IMHO he already looks a better option than the rarely-sighted Abrefa who I feel has yet to offer much.
The more I see of Bindon, the more I feel that he will be snapped up sooner rather than later and we can only hope that any money received will be put to good use and that the amount is what it should be.
For a defender who is quick enough and good on the ball I like it that he can also mix it with the bigger opposition , doesn't get bullied and is good in the air-a proper player .
Having said that, the prospect of the slow Dean and the erratic Mbengue fills me with terror and I would hope we have enough points to survive if Bindon were to go in the January window-obviously preference would be next Summer and it looks inevitable that he will go on to better things.
The best we have had since the days of Upson and Darius.
