It's utterly depressing for anyone who has supported and/or been involved with the team in the past (our daughter was lucky and privileged enough to be able to play for them under Kelly Chambers, during the good days).
When we and Watford Ladies shot off in different directions a decade or so ago (us up, them down) I never dreamt that the day would come when we were again playing at a similar level to them, many tiers down the pyramid.
Meanwhile the club rub it in by continuing to display the up to date league table for the league that the women were in last season!
It's absolutely disgusting how Dai completely destroyed the women's setup. What made matters even worse was the apparent refusal to allow a separate rescue deal for the women. Maybe one day post Dai we will learn why that wasn't allowed to happen.
