WestYorksRoyal It's not. As things stand, players will be sold in January to keep us afloat, we'll fall into mid table, then at the end of the season contracts will expire and we'll be facing another rebuild/relegation battle.

Selles and the team are doing a great job showing would be buyers that there is a coaching set up and team worth investing in. They're doing all they can to put the club in the shop window. But they can't save us and eventually off the pitch matters will become too great.

Hopefully things happen at the boardroom level that really allows the phoenix to rise.

Listen to Mystic meg there, did you get confused and visit here instead of twitter?

You know nothing apart from guesswork fella, we all know what COULD happen, but there is nothing in your post to say you know it WILL happen.

We were supposed to run out of money by the middle of this month, looks like the tax bill was paid last week and assume the staff will be paid Friday.
All these doom mongering predictions doesn`t do us any favours.
And before anyone says it, yes I`ve been one in the past too.

Tend to side with the less pessimistic view
If the sale of Bindon happens then we don’t need to sell anyone else (Dai’s whims permitting). Loan him back and the team stays as is.
We don’t know where we are on the sale, there’s no factual basis to assume nothing is happening and I side with the thought that Couhig may suddenly pop up in the new year.
Even if the worst happens we have a back up ‘plan’ that I think could work well if it happened

While I agree with WYR's overall point - we're not going nowhere under the current regime - the message of doom and gloom has to be tempered by the fact that the team are playing well and similar predictions of woe did not materialise last season. Somehow, the show is staying on the road.

We're a young squad so reckon there will be a dodgy run somewhere (after our FA cup defeat :? ), things could still go catastrophically south off the pitch.

Embers still glowing.

Nobody knows what the hell Dai is up to or even where he is from the sounds of it; so any speculation is just that really

We’ve certainly got some decent coaches and manager on board and an academy producing some fantastic talent so it could be exciting times ahead

I’d also assume running costs and wage bill are right down and relatively manageable now

Even if we do have to sell a player or two in January youd hope we’d keep the vast majority.

Much rather this than that wretched side Ince had anyway. At least we’re fun to watch

A good effort last night and no arguments with the score line which was about right based on chances and play even if our two goals were scruffy .
During commentary I thought I heard right that we are 2nd worst in the division , just less than Blackpool, in goals conceded away from home but fortunately we are quite good at scoring both home and away.

I thought Dorsett was poor again last night and playing at left-back he does seem to lose focus, in the way that Blackett used to.
It may just be that he is a player playing out of position but Craig is doing the same and last night was a very rare occasion when he has done something wrong defensively and so far this season he has done a good job.

Talk of promotion and/or play-offs feels a bit daft and, like most others, I still feel that survival is all that matters in the League and it has been great to see all these young lads step up and I wonder if last night Selles surprisingly played Holzman as he needs to know fairly quickly who will be capable of replacing Bindon.
The lad did ok for a first league game.

I have already posted elsewhere that I would like to see the first team turn out for the FA Cup game but it does look as though the likes of Ahmad, Holzman and possibly Kanu would be able to cope against such a lowly non-league side even if the opposition may well raise their game and it would probably be the biggest game that these lads' carers so far.

What a good week it has been in getting 4 points away to two of the better teams in the division and relegation now thank goodness looks most unlikely whereas if we had lost both of these games we might now be looking a bit nervously over our shoulders..

No expectation of play offs etc either really, but the reality is that more than a third of the way through the season, we’re equal points with 6th place and having played 6 of 7 teams in the top 8 excluding us away from home

Who knows? Barnsley weren’t great, none of the teams below us have been particularly impressive this season. It’s possible

It is possible but I always feel that getting promotion only has a point if the team you already have can perform way above the rest in the division.
Obviously there can be exceptions but look at two of the recently promoted teams in Plymouth and Oxford where, despite signings, they have both conceded 6 in the past week and look set for a relegation struggle.

The 2006 was a Premier team already and proved it in that first season but the next time we were not that special and we all know what happened next..

So, more than happy with mid table this season and see what the future brings.

Oh yeah, even making the play offs, I wouldn’t expect us to win them

If we did it’d need a lot of investment to give us a chance to stay up, and there’s little chance of that at the moment

Needless to say, this season is only about getting those points on the board to avoid relegation, that, and entertaining football along the way.

No have you? his statement indicated it was definitely happening, how does he or you for that matter know that? how is that spot on?

Stick to your excellent pre-match analysists because clearly you know little else.

If I did I've forgotten about it.

Is it gas? Maybe try a change of diet.
