windermereROYAL Chem has done well since he`s been here, is it 5 goals? a few assists too, don`t know if he`ll be here after January though.
despite being our convenient fall-guy…I agree

Hope he sees out the season with us

Knibbs wasn't involved as he is injured according to Selles after the game

Oh well injuries or not, result achieved (in a game that the rest of the world wanted us to lose), hopefully Knibbs ‘injury’ is a something and nothing.

Waxing lyrical here….His dad Ralph was a pro RU player….Harvey used to knock about with my mates lads up in Derby when his dad had dropped down the leagues a bit….one of which was Harvey

Savage, Wing, Garcia and latterly Campbell were great, Tuma and Kanu stood out as particularly poor, Holzman is nothing special.

Button is probably going to come in for a bit of criticism but wasn’t really at fault for any of the goals. Made a great 1 on 1 to keep us in it.

Button is our perfect back-up keeper

Great on the training ground too

Button just doesn't come out for corners. First one was easily preventable and was rooted to the spot.

He was blocked, and there was a light shove. He should be much stronger and not end up lying in the goal, but getting to the ball was always going to be difficult.

Selles' comments on the red card are brilliant. This from the Chronic:
'The major disappointment was a red card for teenager Abraham Kanu, who received two bookings.

"The entire back line was very young without much experience," Selles explained. "That’s why these games will make us better, because Abraham was late twice. The first one is a bad pass from a teammate, and he’s covered the space. The second one was almost last man in the line.

"I think it is a big learning for him but things happen. If it didn’t happen today, it could have happened in League One or another scenario so we need to use it. It was a fair second yellow and not good for the team because we played a long time with 10 players, but it gives us a different flavour of what we can do with 10 players.

"Hopefully he will put it in practise the next time he steps on the pitch and as a team we know it doesn’t matter if we have 10 players, we can still score goals."
No whinging, no blame, and somehow a positive derived from it. OK the fact we ultimately went through helps, but this is a tremendous way to support a young player doing his best.

Much too close for comfort. Very nearly 3-4 at 90 mins and it’d look very different this morning.

As someone posted above Selles doesn’t get non league. Or the FACup I’d say. I reckon he’d treat Aldershot away as just another game. He just got away with it yesterday despite selection and substitution errors, one of which was not hooking Kanu when he was on a yellow, given he had Bindon and Dean on the bench.

Harborough first goal looked like Eastleigh’s winner and one of Kiddy’s. Lesson there.

Ultimately an epic, worth attending, Harborough were ugly, limited, cynical but tactically astute, motivated and made the most of what they had. Sandro useless though.

Harborough’s first shouldn’t have been given after the amount of shirt pulling from the Harborough player who scored.

Don’t understand why Kanu got a second booking for what is essentially two players giving a shoulder barge to each other with the Harborough player then going down like someone had shot him and rolling about on the ground.

Camara’s goal was an own goal.

Kanu got nowhere near the ball and took him out, anyone can see it was a clear yellow. It csrtainly wasn't just shoulder to shoulder.

Both players were nowhere near the ball, both players committed to a shoulder charge.
