What does it matter, as if any of them on that ridiculous list are gonna come to this mess of a club.
Potter and Moyes, yeah I’m sure their be begging to come here and earn the smallest wage ever in their entire careers

Snowflake Royal He's one man leading a team, he's not an infallible messiah. There are people queuing up to buy the club. Finding a buyer has never been a problem.
.

This is ridiculous. Are you not aware of the significant numbers of managers we've churned through over recent years?

Now for the first time in years and years and years, we have a man who actually feels connected to the fans and players.

In these terrible times it's even more special and important.

If he leaves then it is terrible. Do you really think this team will continue to get such good results? That they'll play just as passionately with some new person suddenly on the sidelines?

Some may be overreacting but you are underreacting and being too blasé.

It's also the loss of a strong figurehead whilst the clubs whole future is still in turmoil.

Missing a few aren't you?

Glenn Hoddle
Martin O'Neil
Wayne Rooney (he will be available in about a week or so)
The bloke at West Ham (he will be available by the weekend)

It will be Noel Hunt; at the club already, knows the youngsters very well, inexpensive.

It’s a risk from Selles. Ultimately took him 4/5 months to get going here and that’s a luxury he won’t be afforded elsewhere. Hull aren’t exactly renowned for being the best run club either (sacking Rosenior in 7th, for example). Whilst it was predictable this day was going to come around, would have thought he’d try and hold off for a more “stable” club more geographically suited

In saying that, Selles obviously knows more about the current and future potential of the club, transfer sales, likelihood of any takeover taking place etc etc so can’t begrudge him a move to a higher division

Elm Park Kid It will have to be Hunt as no manager in their right mind is going to join a club in our situation.

You think?

Difficult to really “lose out” from a manager’s perspective. You can either do well, build a better reputation and move on (like Selles) or struggle but with the excuse of the current condition we’re in. Think it’s almost impossible to lose any credibility at the moment managing us - shot to nothing

Taking us from 6th to 20th = loss of credibility.

He'll go back to trying his 4-2-2-2 farceball and the Hull fans will be on his back in due course. Could well be looking for another job in the summer.

Wonder which players will go with him in January.

Unless he knows something that we don't about the future of the club (which, despite his frequent protestations, seems pretty believable), this looks like a short-term and high-risk move.

I'd like to say I wish him well, but I'm so disappointed, I hope it turns to sh1t for him.

Just off to get my old Judus banner out ready for when he's here with Shrewsbury or Walsall in a few seasons.

No tie-in corroboration of course, but Northamptons’ manager (Jon Brady) has just resigned

At the Former Players' thing in October, Rubén was categoric that he would remain in charge for at least until the end of this season, unless he was lied to, by the people above.

If he does go, then I think it's safe to assume that these new potential owners are either not credible, do not exist or simply that Dai is not selling.

Well it's not sage to assume anything.

All of that may be true or it may just be that the impact this job was having on his mental health was such that he felt he no longer had a choice but to move on whilst someone wanted to employ him.

It is likely that someone crossed that line in terms of lies though.

Steven Schumacher possibly but even that would be unrealistic, who is left at the club to make these decisions and offers to potential new managers? It will be Noel, if he agrees to it, and under the circumstances that is the best we can hope for.

I'm surprised lying was a red line. The club lie all the time. It's what they do. Saying you'll leave the club when they lie to you is like saying you'll put up an umbrella when it rains. You know it will happen, it's just timing.

Sounding like a done deal now

Such a shame to lose him but can’t blame him, surprising he stayed this long.
