GET IN

Look at that gap between 10th and 11th, table well and truly split into two.

With Charlton's late equaliser, the gap to 6th drops to 1pt, technically 2pts considering our goal difference.

Snowflake Royal We're unbeaten in 6, just got a great result against the league leaders, and struugle at Wigan.

It's an L isn't it.

This is a very good run from Mr Hunt.

2 very winnable games coming up. We have to be targeting 2 wins, which may well get us into 6th.

Edged first half, standard gimme goal conceded. Turned it around for a solid win.

Never mind, Charlton took it too far and got a late winner too.

May puncture Orient's season. Take another team out of the equation, no bad thing.

Our run in looks great tbh:

Exeter (H)
Crawley (A)
Wrexham (H)
Shrewsbury (A)
Peterborough (H)
Blackpool (A)
Wycombe (H)
Northampton (A)
Lincoln (H)
Mansfield (A)
Bristol Rovers (A)
Barnsley (H)

Add in getting players back to fitness and I'm starting to believe we'll do this.

Superb stuff - have to target those play offs with that run in - got every chance. This was one of the harder ones

I feel like I owe Noel an apology. I was disappointed when Selles left and I didn't think Noel would keep us at the quality we were playing before.

I have to eat those words, I think we're overall we're potentially better. We're a little more direct now which looks less fancy overall, but we look far more defensively capable. It means that where before, getting the tactics wrong meant losing 4-0, it's now a 2-1 or a scrappy draw. We're able to compete against teams who play to disrupt and frustrate the opposition, instead of pressuring for 60 minutes and losing 1-0.

Agree - today very good indeed, going behind and with the 3 injuries from last week too.

Snowflake Royal For those able to watch, how did Bodin do? Stat based match rating suggests he was a bit shit.

Nice chest down for Wing but other than that nothing really, still yet to see anything from him. In his defence we are still lacking going forward but he didn’t fill me with confidence that he is going to create something.

Described him as anonymous - expected more of him as he came as an experienced player

Also glad Wareham is doing well. Saw his debut in Sutton pre-season game and at the time described him as 'running like a striker' - didn't realise how young he was at the time. He's also a nice chap as bumped into him and had a chat after Wrexham away.

Was watching with my son, said last season/ few seasons we would have crumbled once one down but there is something about this group now they have found the ability to get back into games and get a lead then not f*** it up.

Was a scratchy game we were the better team throughout, not great but battled well, if I was a Wigan fan i’d be raging a few times they broke on us but just slowed it down or over hit it but who cares!

Savage was everywhere again, Mbengue had a couple of errors one for the goal …(but so did all the defence for the corner) and another near the start, a terrible pass but in between he was great. Shout out for Garcia he has started to look more confident and his ball retention is so much better.
Wareham again growing with a well taken goal
Savage MOM

Please can we not resort to type in next few games and become Charity FC again.

Hunt out of his depth and not got a clue :D

BFTG. First half we dominated but no real chances except for some poor shots and a looping deflection. We seemed to control possession but didnt look as if we'd ever score. It was inevitable that Wigan would score from a corner, a free header with no marker.

I was surprised by the fight back and then the winner, but we deserved it. The team seemed to really enjoy the win, a great result. The away end atmosphere was poor, but on the plus side I managed to stuff down 2 pies (Chicken Balti and Chicken and gravy ftw).

My MOTM was Binden, as Ian asked Bodin was poor.

Prematch we sought out a nearby Joseph Holt pub - the Douglas Bank, a 15 min walk to the ground and 2 pints for £6! (635 bus from the centre). Highly recommended for future visits.

Possible spotted of Brogue, some fat ginger beaded chap with his daughter.
