Linden Jones' Tash The thing that annoys me the most is that we had an owner who gambled a fortune and we didn't really notice it until it was over and suffered the consequences.
At least Portsmouth fans got a Cup Final out of their folly...

Sutekh Yeah, really don’t get the important footballing managerial appointments made. With the exception of Tevreden every one of them was an utterly stupid backward decision for the club.

Hound Couple of things clear with Dai
His original intentions were clearly to spend a load of his cash to make us a prem team, and support the infrastructure re: Bearwood. Most fans certainly happy with that approach
He clearly knows f all about actual football and why would he? So he should have stayed away from any footballing decisions, ie Moore and Loader
He made some awful appointments - Gourlay particularly who I absolutely despise as a man. Though Bowen was a Dai man and was broadly positive imo
He also received appalling advice on the football side from hangers on and agents, and maybe still is
Last 3-4 years have been utterly unacceptable though. Not helped by his appalling communications or lack of. He should have gone a couple of years ago and we’d have looked on him as a gambler who had a go and failed, rather than the absolute twat we all think he is now

Didn't spend his own cash though. He borrowed and fraudently obtained. Took a huge gamble that backfired .........
Won the play-off under Stam. History now would have be very different.
No one would care how Dai funded the success.

It would only be different in so far as it would be worse, because we'd have spent far more, on shit, and been immediately relegated.
You don't run us like dai and stay up in the PL.

Wolves have made a pretty good fist if it, in a seemingly similar model.

Difference being that Jorge Mendes is a vastly superior agent to Kia Joorabchian, you just have to look at their respective client lists to see that.
Dai couldn't even pick a decent super agent to take advice from.

windermereROYAL Seems like there`s still a certain Fulham player that can`t get over their play-off defeat nearly nine years on, our pitch is a disgrace and he`s happy with the mess we find ourselves in. his audience had a good laugh too.
But no mention of their pedo owner.
Take a bow Cairns you fucking loser.

There's an interview with Tevreden on either the Elm Park Royals or 1871 podcast in which it's clear he left because of Gourlay and if he'd known Gourlay was going a short while later he probably wouldn't have left. From Despair To Where? Maybe a moot point but I always thought it was Gourlay who sidelined Tevreden.
