From Despair To Where? Doesn't sound like there's much to add from what was said in the podcast with Aaron Paul and Joe Jacobsen earlier in the week.
Theres a fair chunk extra to be fair mate. The liens is a massive part

From Despair To Where?Sutekh Highlights nobody around here has a clue what is actually going on at the moment. Pulled from pillar to post with a ton of machinations going on. At the end of the day RC managed Wycombe into a very useful well run unit. Meanwhile Dai and his entourage of advisors (whoever they may be) have managed to do the polar opposite with Reading while Platek we know seems to sell and move on from things fairly quickly when what Reading really need is time and effort to stabilise and build back the foundations JM had.
That's a bit unfair on Platek. What's he done that Couhig hasn't done at Wycombe, and conversely, what's Couhig done at Wycombe that Platek hasn't done at Casa Pia?
I'd say their methods and level of success are comparable. We could do a lot worse than either.
I do think though that Couhig is seen by some as a pantomime villain because of the shenanigans with Bearwood.

How long was Couhig owner at Wycombe?

SutekhReading4evaSutekh Thanks for giving RC a chance to put a bit of PR out there for himself!

Nice to hear RC give his time to speak and in so doing show more communication to the fans than we’ve had from the present mute in all his 8 years.
Thanks mate. This has taken quite some prep since I managed to secure it but I hope we covered everything and got more new information.
The liens information is very interesting. Whilst it avoids a doomsday scenario is this why the club have avoided administration but have been on a drip feed of funds for almost 2 years?
Bearwood again interesting and the fact the club were trying to flog the asset rather than Couhig jumping on a bad situation.
From speaking with Rob, honest opinion and I don't want to influence anyone else, was he is a very open, hospitable person. He also, despite being offered numerous opportunities during the interview had the chance to throw people under the bus but avoided doing so. Make of that what you will.
Appreciate your time, must have taken a while to set up! Glad someone’s managed to do something the BBC should have been looking to do rather than just parroting the club. Hope you’re not losing your Bournemouth followers as a result!
Rob speaks as you’d expect in being very positive and sensible about how to run a club and you can see through the state of Wycombe that he does deliver. Only thing I felt was missing was on the collapse of his deal, as I edited into my earlier message.

Great to hear from the horse's mouth, very informative. Agree with Sutekh - quite honestly I wonder what the local press do all week aside from sitting on X and pasting in others' work.

2019 to 2024. He only sold up due to health concerns which he now says are behind him.
by Sutekh » 28 Mar 2025 09:47
From Despair To Where? Couhig wasn't exactly in it for the long haul at Wycombe, less than 4 years.
Platek oxf*rd up in Denmark but has publicly acknowledged what they did wrong and seems to have learned from his mistakes.
Le Spezia are no worse off for his ownership.
Casa Pia are punching considerably above their weight in Portugal

Mr Angry It really really doesn't matter in the short/medium term who purchases the club at this stage; ANYONE is better than Dai, who is literally destroying our football club.
Either Platek or Couhig will be an massive upgrade.

MartinRdg I've just got an email notification of a change to Reading FC on the companies house gov.uk website but can't find what's changed. Anyone else got any ideas?
