Harper or Sidwell

by The Goat was fed » 08 Jun 2006 12:32

Leading on from "Harper village idiot" thread, I thought it might be interesting to see who the majority of fans prefer. I was always of the impression the majority was against me when I say I prefer Harper.

I can't decide! Both players are important to us and play vital roles in RFC. They both have different jobs so you can't really say who's better.

Harps... What a ledge.

I like Sid too, but Harps is always good value for post-match Reading World entertainment.

I voted Harper for comedy value.

I'm prepared to change my vote if it will persuade Sidders to sign a new contract though.

at the end of the day, we have a great team, with a great team spirit. i would have voted for sidwell, and fair enuf he wants more money, who doesnt? but if it causes friction within the team i vote for Harper. Plus Harps is an awsome player, always 100 % effort. URZ!

I think that they are both important to the team, but if i had to pick it would be Sidwell.

The interest from other clubs also suggests this

Personality - Harper

Player - Sidwell

I think that if Sidwell plays for us next year then he will be more important.

You know what you are getting with Sidwell, even when in poor form, he still makes an impact, he's far more consistant. Harper is a confidence player. When on his game he is the better player but he does have a habit of going missing for months on end.
