Platypuss Always strikes me as odd to see the Board in the squad photo, and especially when it is them taking the limelight - do other clubs do this?

Dawn It's a shame we didn't get to see this version of the team photo
WHAT should have been a straightforward team photo almost turned into a brush with the lawyers for The Reading Chronicle.
In the old days we, like all local papers, took our own team photos every season.
But the Premier League now supply them and they only use their official photographers to snap every club.
Reading had theirs done at the end of last week and, in order to meet our Premier League supplement deadline, they were kind enough to send us an early copy.
But, literally seconds before we went to press, our eagle-eyed sports editor, Pete Phillips, spotted something was awry.
There, slap-bang in the middle, was Graham Stack wearing a wig.
It wasn't any old hairpiece either but a jet-back, shoulder-length retro bob.
Stack must have whipped it on while the photographer wasn't looking and, of all the pictures he could have emailed, it had to be that one.
We immediately called the Premier League who apologised but insisted we remove the offending picture from our pages. We said it might be too late but when the league threatened an injunction and legal action we had to back down.
Unfortunately, they could not supply us with a replacement team-photo - less the wig - before we went to press, although we received a printable version the very next day.
All in all it was a pretty hair-raising experience and a brush with the Premier League wasn't what we imagined before a ball had even been kicked.
