Mr Angry Firstly, thats your opinion.

Secondly, Viduka - he blows hot and cold and I wonder if it was a choice between him and Kitson who many would prefer.

Schwarzer - I'd have Marcus over him any day of the week frankly.

Yakubu - I'd rather thave Doyle than him

Boateng - yeah right!!!

I'd rather have Gunnarsson than Boateng FFS!

Maybe you want to have a little more faith in our team and in our players.

Of course it's my opinion - this is a message board FFS

The rest of your post is so LOLable I can only assume you're trying to wind me up. Whilst I'm making no judgement over who will win on Saturday, it's entirely ridiculous to suddenly elevate our players above those who have, for example, fired teams into the Champions League semi-finals in the past.

Perhaps you need to broaden your perspective a little.

Boateng is a very decent ball-winning midfielder.

If he really was that good, why did he ever leave Aston Villa?

It's all right Spacey, Boateng isn't French, so you can say that he is a good player.

You don't think they'd gladly have him back now?

Let's see - first choice midfielder at Villa performing very well. Another club thinks hmmmm he is just what we need and offers an attractive fee and excellent personal terms...

Yes why did he leave.

And therein lies the issue.

This will be Viduka's first competitive game since a WC 2nd round defeat; are you telling me that he is going to be as up for the game tomorrow as he was when playing for Leeds in the Champions League!!

Now THAT is LOLable!

Perhaps you need to stop playing CM quite so much.

I hope he's on a wind-up, I really do. Otherwise if he really would rather have Doyle than Yakubu and Gunnarson than Boateng, then that's hilarious.

I know, what was he thinking. Carling Cup win, FA Cup semi, UEFA cup finalist at Boro or naff all and one crisis after another at Villa. Must keep him awake at night.

Strangely enough some players move for money, and not the prestige of the club. And anyway Villa to Boro is a sideways step not backward.

i'd say convey, from what ive seen on highlights with downing, he doesnt really seem to have much pace going past defenders. I'd say as far as crossing, free kicks etc go, convey and downing are on about a par, but convey just has the edge due to pace and better success of taking people on imho....

You're usually such a decent poster I'm afraid I'm convinced this is a wind-up. Kitson over Viduka, Doyle over Yakubu, and Gunnarsson over Boateng  They must have put something in the Upper West Stand Guinness.

Wow, being laughed at by SB1871!!!

I don't know if I can handle it!!!

This is the time when all the little boys who have watched the Premiership on the telly for years now cream themselves because the "big names" are coming to play; they are only "big" names cos Sky have told you they are.

If you don't think our players are good enough then thats cool; we all know now where you stand.

I - and a few others I suspect - will ressurect these posts in months to come.......when we have surprised a few and shocked many more (including yourself).

Enjoy wacthing the "big" names tomorrow; I'll enjoy watching my team stuff them.

Fair points there but the main flaw being the standard of the opponents.

Skinning Gary Neville is much harder proposition than skinning the Millwall right back for example.
