roadrunner
Dawn Ben Hamer has gone on loan to Brentford until January with Alex McCarthy returning to Reading

Put your feet up Feds. You might be inconsistent and over-rated, but there's no one knocking at your door trying to take your shirt. Smoke a fat one and carry on. Pressure's off.

DJ Campbell going to Blackpool means they proably won't want to lose another striker.

One minute to go... although I'm assuming it'll take a while for all the last-minute transfers to filter through to the media.

As the window shuts....

From the side that looked like promotion material at the end of last year:

We've lost Bertrand and replaced him with Harte and Williams. We'll see how this goes, but all but the most optimistic amongst us will consider the first 11 has been weakened at left-back.

Lost Khizanishvilli and then resigned on a year's loan. Fair enough.

Lost player-of-the-season Sigurdsson and made no attempt to replace him.

Sold Matejovsky, Henry and Cisse, capable squad players in the midfield. And made no attempt to replace them.

Lost Rasiak and made no attempt to replace him.

LOL@ me for thinking we might have a tilt at promotion this season.

cmonurz Fryatt got 13 goals last season despite not playing for 3 months of it, and got 32 goals when Leicester were in League One the season before. A good goalscorer.

better than what we have, would like to see him and n hunt in a 4-4-2 now we have lost the sig

No. DJ Campbell also went to Blackpool, so Fryatt could now be needed, or possibly loaned after the 8th.

Absolutely oxf*rd pathetic transfer window by the club, I am oxf*rd livid with how it's gone today. I can understand Sig going and Khiz coming in but Ian oxf*rd Harte and not even a sniff of a replacement for Sig or a desperately needed striker.

Total joke we'll be lucky to finish 12th this season. I'm normally very positive about the club but this has gone too far now and I wouldn't be surprised if we are in a relegation scrap.

Thanks for the memories JM but it's time for you and the club to part ways.

I don't see what everyone's problem is with Harte. He won't be on massive dollar, won't have cost much, and will function as a useful enough squad player. It's another body after all.

Plus, Harte was voted into the League 1 Team of the Season last year. He's still got something.

+1

I can understand people's frustration at the lack of more attacking signings, but to vent it by slating Harte is a bit silly.

I don't mind Ian Harte coming in. But we only have 3 strikers at the moment that you would consider starters and we will be back to 4-4-2 against Palace.
