Wycombe Royal Looking up or down is what this title is about so surely we need to look at the positions of all teams? We could be 11th if all games were equal and that would affect people's view of our position.

You just can't stop being selective......

Nope. I take the meaning of the thread to be, glass half-full v glass-half-empty

If you are being pedantic we ALWAYS look up and down, unless we are top or bottom
but I take the thread's point to be (when it started) that we could have gone either
way. I now don't believe that to be the case. I believe we are probably about 50-1 against
to be relegated.

on THAT basis, I'm looking up (meaning I'm wondering about finishing in the top six)
and not looking down (meaning, I'm not seriously imagining a relegation scrap)

But YES of course, clubs below us might pass us, just as we might pass clubs currently above us

or we might stay seventh for the rest of the season. Personally, I'll be surprised if we do make the top four, might, MIGHT scrape 5th/6th

but if I was betting now I'd say 7th or 8th by season's end, and really, in a transitional season, that wouldn't be terrible.
