Away to Chelsea midweek is what I'm hoping for, then I can hopefully actually get a ticket.

^^^^^^ this - easy to get to from work and home, and after not being able to get a ticket for Stevenage, hopefully midweek and with a much larger ticket allocation I could get one this time

One other positive if its the Chelsea match. As a pauper student in the Premiership years I was priced out of going to Chelsea, however will tickets for this match be cheaper because its the FA Cup? I'm sure there are regulations that will inevitably make the tickets cheaper. Be good to see 6,000 odd Royal's descend on the Bridge.

Everton away would be good too.

I bet Kes's mum & dad had a job on their hands trying to calm him down before bedtime last night.

HAS to be the bitter blues. I missed out on Goodison so I need to tick it off and have some 'pool nonsense in the evening.

AthleticoSpizz twas hoping for Crawley...do not like Steve Evans much

The last time (and the only time) I saw Reading play Crawley, we won 7-1 (Boris Mihalov had just been signed following his World Cup heroics, and was looking very bemused in the old EP stand)

was that a reserve game?

:|

Why? I was more excited when we played Ipswich in the 3rd round. Bigger club than Reading.

£25 as mentioned previously in the thread.

They'll definately have the capability to sell the tickets in a week. I would encourage them to get the match scheduled for the 26th.

roadrunner Disinterested in this tie. The enjoyment of watching the so-called big boys died after our two years in the Premiership when we, even with our players, were surrounded by money and greed. Had it been a Crawley, L.Orient, Brighton, I'd have gone.

Still, nice to see us make the 5th round again.

SpaceCruiser I'd watch Reading no matter who the opposition are, that is if I could. Being bored of watching Reading play a Premiership team doesn't make sense - you're there to support Reading, not watch the opposition.

I said I was disinterested, not bored with Premiership teams. I much prefer grassroots football to the over paid and over hyped billy big bollocks Premier League nonsense.

In future I promise to close my eyes whenever the opposition get the ball...

Since 2004/05 (the last time Ipswich finished above s in the League) we have pushed on, while Ipswich have sort of stagnated - even going as low as appointing Roy Keane as manager. They may have won some European knock-out competition back before most people on this board were born, but they're on a downward spiral. They couldn't even beat a Chelsea reserve side, ffs. Was it that exciting for the "lifelong" Chelsea fans to beat a relegation-threatened team of has-beens? I suppose it was!!

Chelsea or Everton?

by RoyalJames101 » 31 Jan 2011 16:41

Simple, who would you prefer?

Chelsea for me, mainly as its easier to get to.

Yes - but BBCRB appear to have forgotten that.

What is the point in giving out the news if they get wrong - like they do their travel reports half the time.
