Looking at Ben's great video and the Football League Show highlights, how about the work by Ingimarsson and Khizanishvili before Kebe's goal? You could mistake them for accomplished forwards.

Amazing game, got a sore head today but totally worth it! At the beginning of last season, the fans seemed to have lost a connection with the players, but that's completely changed now. Seems to be a real bond between the fans and the players and they want it as much as we do which is fantastic to see.

Khiz must be gutted to still be goalless after the last two games. Two great efforts which both deserved goals.

Decent enough coverage on BBC last night. I LOLed at the Nottm Forest fan complaining about the lack of backing for the manager.

"Nobody brought in last summer, no signings in January and no use of the loan window."

McDermott can only dream of the sort of financial backing Billy Davies has had.

MOM Leigterwood, but moment of the match was Kebe's reaction to scoring, which made me emotional, must admit. Just beforehand he and Long had exchanged glares after messing up an easy chance, so I was doubly happy for JK.

I also liked how quickly we scored after going 2-1 down and then after they brought it back to 3-3. It was almost as if the players felt it was so unjustified and just upped the pace. We certainly attacked at will all game.

One of the best away days ever for me, all round.

Keep it up at Scunthorpe, lads, please.

T.R.O.L.I. Surely the biggest unaswered question for those of us who weren't there today but were there last season:

Was the steward who "lost" his orange beanie hat there again this year?

No, The little oompa loompa was nowhere to be seen but Floyd was wearing his hat in the Vat and Fiddle before the game.
I managed to catch Kebe's goal to make the score Forest 2 - 3 Reading

I love this club! And seeing these types of videos has made my long-distance fan experience a thousand times better! Ben you are a legend!

Yeah, the guy conveniently forgot about Boyd and Konchesky.

Brilliant, brilliant result and it was nerve-wracking just following on the internet! For those who were there: similar to Tranmere away in 95 POs?

Judging by what I have read, Long and Manset could be the partnership up front for the run-in. What a combination: Long's movement and aerial ability and Manset's power. Going to be fun!

I may now have to contemplate flying back home for the POs. :D

Was it a sweeter feeling than Everton though.

floyd__streete Not making the mistake of looking too far ahead, but this is really starting to feel like the run-in at the end of 94/95 when we hit form at the right time and the belief throughout the club - players, management, fans - was immense. That season we snatched second place - if we repeat that trick again this season then Brian should be given the Freedom of the Town.

Don't want to jinx it, but I've been thinking for some time that the way the team is performing right now is a triumph of management. If you think back over the last two years, and especially what BMcD has done in the past 14 months, I can't help feeling promotion of any kind this season (whether auto or play-offs) would be the equal of Coppell's achievement in 06.

And I say that as a massive Coppell fan.

Very excited right now. Please don't let us come back to earth too hard against Scunny.

the only way it will beat 05/06 is if we clinch the title on the last day on goal difference with goals from cummings, and mcarthy
