Agent Balti
rfc2001 It has probably been mentioned before, but the fact RVP and jack wilshere are tweeting about Benik firing us into the EPL can only be good thing.

Hardly going to say anything else are they, tbf.

They could also just not say anything at all. The fact they are means that this lad has made an impression at Arsenal and expectations are pretty high.

Equally, they're not going to say he's sh*t. Come on...

Yes, but as he pointed out they don't have to make any comment on the matter.

As it happens many fans were expecting him to break into their first team this season, and he may well have if he hadn't been ruled out for 6 months. He featured heavily in their pre-season.

Saying that....none of this makes a blind bit of difference. We'll find out how good he is on Saturday.

Royal With Cheese Manset is proven?

SRSLY?

Yes. The two goals against Millwall, his run vs QPR last season, his winner vs Bristol and the lolz about him.

Twitter news that he will have his loan extended, if they gain promotion.
So if they are promoted, he will be loaned in PL next term.

An Arsenal mate of mine says he's a lot like Kevin Campbell, but in the games he's seen him missed a few sitters.

Some glowing reviews here

Alongside glowing reviews of Jay Emmanuel Thomas.

I live near Highbury. Arsenal fans have no idea what they are talking about.

RockheadRumple
ZacNaloen
RockheadRumple Don't really want to sign him to be honest. What's it gonna do for the confidence of Church/LeFondre? I would rather we played Karl Sheppard.

Sheppard is injured though...

Alright then, what about Manset like TBM alluded to earlier? Had we not loaned him out we'd have a few more options and Manset is proven. I'll happily eat my words if this kid turns out to be very good but I can't help feeling anxious about suddenly signing/loaning a ton of players even with TSI's backing.

The only thing Manset was proven is unfit and not good enough.

Church? Well it's quite telling that now we don't have to settle for what we can produce on our own that McDermott has gone out and brought in some better options. For all the spin he put on it when he was trying to build Church up and give him confidence it's quite obvious that McDermott doesn't really think he's up to the job and so has gone out to get new blood.

rfc2001 Just want to say. ALF is good enough it's just that HUNT is the same build and is having a fantastic season in a winning team! Benik adds height and pace and a different dimension. Maybe this guy can lead our line in the EPL!

Exactly. With the exception of the, now injured, Roberts he is very different from the other striker options we have.

Given that Barcelona are rumoured to be interested in him (Source: BBC a few weeks ago) he must have something going for him. Doesn't necessarily mean he will be right for this team though. While we are in great form I'm not sure what Inesta and Xavi would make of playing for a team like Reading - baffling probably.

Even the BBC talk shite sometimes. Im sure he's a great prospect but talks of someone who was on loan at huddersfield last season attracting interest from barca...nonsense.
