I am lying in a bath of custard, stroking a goose's neck.

Feet up as usual.

Wow, we beat Everton, a top 4 team before today.

Looks like it's safe to be a Reading fan again. Hopefully some fans describing us a a "shower of shite" might just gain some perspective. I doubt it though.

Nope, I'm sure that Royal Rother will be along shortly to post some of his trademark pretentious guff. The only thing in life more predictable than Reading taking the lead then screwing it up is that RR will be along to chastise us for over-reacting to it.

And he'd be right to do that IMHO. Dumping your miserableness on other people unecessarilly is not on.

May I suggest you hop over to the over-reacting moan-fest thread

if we lose to villa then we can moan all we want, for now, a loss to wigan isnt the end of the world as long as we can turn it around and get 3 points tuesday. remember we still have that game in hand that could bump us up well away from the relegation spots!

Had enough of the team board. Totally OTT as per usual. Calling him McDonut just shows how out of touch with reality a lot of people are.

But that, even if it happens, is only likely to be a temporary respite. We could and should have taken all three points today. The manager and players f*cked it up big time. Far too many of them are showing that they are not good enough for this level and that could include the manager.

It's not so much about reality - that loss hurt me, and the other positive posters I'm sure - it's about what is the most helpful way to respond to challenges; panic or calmly assess the situation like Lord Wellington would have done in times of old, with a stiff upper lip.

If Villa lose against Arsenal tonight we will still be out of the relegation zone. It's not so bad.

Caaaaaaaaalm.
