Fine win for Reading, in all honesty given the results today it was crucial that we did record a rare win. Millwall's victory at Forest was an irritating result, the only teams in the bottom 9 to lose were Brighton and Huddersfield but in doing so they surrendered points to other sides below us in the table.

Charlton are the team to watch, sliding towards the basement.

Forest are falling even faster than Charlton. They now have the same number of points as us, having been miles ahead.

Just seen that Cardiff have the same number of points as us too. Bit surprised by that tbh.

Pearce and Slade might be lucky to have jobs on Monday morning

Forest only won the other day because it was a derby derby. Normal service resumed. Don't think they'll go down. They'll sack Pearce first, but maybe not quite Monday.

Having recently relocated from Nottingham to Sandhurst, the Reading v Forest game at the end of February is on my must do list. If Forest carry on this form we could be in serious problems by then.

Has Pearce ever been successful as a manager?

Well he's gone now. Sad really, but inevitable.

Derby obviously didn't give him quite the respite I expected.

They were victims of their own cockiness. Up to the match they were predicting at least 7-0 with one of their players (Ryan Shotton) even joining in.

It was exactly the sort of game I thought Pearce might sneak a result from.

*BUMP*

Two away games for us now. Yeah, so we're apparently better away from home.....would you bank on us taking much more than a point from Ipswich and Huddersfield combined? Three points in total would be a right result.

Millwall now have two home games, Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday....two teams even Reading managed to beat this season. Sh*t or bust for them. If they sh*t and get a couple of wins..... :o

Rotherham have hard looking away games, Wolves and Watford. Charlton are at Wigan and Derby. Brighton have two big and very winnable home games, Brighton and Leeds.

We could be really in the thick of it this time next week :!:

Basically we need 5 wins from the remaining 15 (?) games to be sure of survival, imo. That's one win in every 3 matches, we can manage that, surely?
