Bus was rocking on the way back to town. ALOL at the teenager who tried to start the "We are the Reading" chant and his voice broke halfway through.

Reading played well. Was a bit annoyed when the players surrounded the ref for the sending off though.

Yep - Hector and Pearce, then out of shot comes another couple of Reading players.

If they're out of shot and you were watching on Sky+ - how do you know that happened?

Forbury Lion The Secret Footballer (who was presumably cheering on his old club) posted the clip on twitter and said it's an example of how players badgering the ref can get a card changed from yellow to red, When someone pointed out that the ref changed his mind after speaking on his mike/earpiece to the linesman, he agreed, but said he only did that after the players asked him too.

Only saw it live but my impression was that he didn't change his mind - he just got the wrong card out at first.

tidus_mi2 As has been said everyone bitching about the club's attempts at raising an atmosphere, if you had it your way we'd have no goal music, no pre-match music, no back the boys, no drums/band and no anthems.

You'd just have it left to the fans to create the atmosphere and you know what we'd get? Absolute bloody silence because we're oxf*rd shit at raising our own atmosphere.

The club have been training the fans out of creating an atmosphere for over a decade. Without all the aids over the years we'd have some crap games and some good games same as we do now.

Rare 'greed here. The manufactured 'atmosphere', especially the after goal music absolutely kills any chance of a genuine organic atmosphere building, as does drummers/bands etc

Is there a rule to stop us playing Sweet Caroline on repeat for the whole game?

As Keown said last night "Reading have drafted in a band with the hope of creating an atmosphere"

ZacNaloen We are just a little be too middle class to really let loose at a football match. Stiff upper lip and all that, chap.

:D

It takes something proper nawty to get us really going.

An ex-manager who did the dirty on us... dirty fouls. Big mouthed tosser away fans. When we wake up it's pretty surprising. But generally we're happy to bumble along quietlybappreciating the match or grumbling at a poor showing.

Forbury Lion
Dr_Hfuhruhurr Bradford looked exhausted from the get go; and when the opposition is a yard slower all game there should only be one outcome.
Did Bradford rest their entire first team squad for their previous league game like we did? If no, that's the reason.

Bradford don't have the squad to be able to do that.
