Maneki Neko What has happened? I go away for a month, thinkng we were invicible, and now we've not won since I thought it.
Is it my fault?

Feel equally bemused but I have watched all the games in that month
Fulham knocked the wind out of everyone I think

I think they started thinking they were invincible too.Confidence is a funny thing, we had too much in that game, and since then, not enough.

Been feeling this way myself. No doubt that what I saw at Fulham shook us badly. Had we won that game we might well have won all the games since. It looked like we were more than capable of doing so before that defeat but the injuries in midfield haven't helped us.

I'd say we should go back to the formation that was working best, try using Norwood, Williams and Alex in a 4-3-3 with Vydra, Sa and Blackman as forwards and get some confidence back with a win over a stuggling Bolton side on Saturday, which we really must do.

100% agree with you RF, like most of us. Unfortunately I don't see Clarke doing it.

It is bizarre that it seems increasingly apparent to growing numbers of people, who usually have a bit of a clue about at least some things, that this is the logical thing to do and yet Clarke doesn't seem even remotely interested in doing it (watch him do exactly that at the weekend).

Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I'd like to think the only reason he didn't do it at Cardiff was because Williams wasn't 100% fit.

Hes always been a 'use the best formation for the team you are playing against' kind of manager.

Cheers, and you were right. Clarke didn't do it but we won, so he won't change it next game either  Don't let that win on Saturday paper over the cracks though, I'm certainly not convinced.
